hey man, what are the actual differences between the two headcrabs?? we have almost made the classic one, but we forgot to mirror the second half, so some of my headcrab has stitching on the inside, and half on the outside.

try this, i get a load of stutter and low fps, especially around the strider section, and loads on the antlion map someone made on here. i have an intel 3.2 ht, 512 ram, radeon 9600. i just did a performance test and got 343.2

just because doom 3 is not to your taste, doesn't mean its crap. i quite like it, whereas whilst the first few level of far cry are brilliant, i think that the monsters they threw at you just ruin it totally.

surely as the combine use the headcrabs against you, they are not going to get caught by them

its because ppl like comparing stuff. the doom 3 engine is made for small tight interiors with much mood lighting. whereas the cry tech engine was made for large open spaces, much like halflife 2. its all about reasonable comparisons. u have to compare things that are alike.
