No, it sure doesn't. I'm sure I will find out tonight when I open the retail box and examine everything. It looks to be a sweet card though. I am really anxious right now to get home and try it out.

The 9800xt is here, well I have it at least. I ordered it on the 30th of last month from ATI's website. I have been periodically checking the order status since then. Well, I checked UPS' site today with my order number and the card was on it's way to my house. I am currently at work but...

Yeah, I read your post. I hope you are right, but that is nothing more than wishful thinking to me at this point. My hopes have been raised only to have them crash down time and time again. I am guessing that I should receive the card sometime this week with a coupon for HL2 in it...

This is just great. Just bought the 9800xt with the HL2 coupon in it. I did need a new video card but it almost seems like a waste now. This is not a wise move Valve. :frown:

Anyone else notice the weird aliasing going on in that picture? It looks like the fence and a bit of the buggy's hood area are horribly aliased while most of the rest of the buggy and the weapon are sporting nice AA. I'm not convinced so much that it is real now.

I don't know if the render "screams Brazil" or not, but it was definitely rendered using radiosity/global illumination. Most 3D packages nowadays do that right out of the box.

Don't know if this means the game is inside or there is a coupon for the game, but here is a picture of Asus' 9800pro XT, you will notice the HL2 sticker which reads: "Half-Life 2 Free Game" I am in the market for these cards and deals like this will definitely influence my decision...

That's my theory as well. I do believe Nvidia had something to do with this. I can almost guarantee that the only work left to be done to the game are performance improvements for hardware, mainly Nvidia hardware. Nvidia is a very powerful company and something like this is easily...
