Yeah, we've done a few of those types of contests before. That's kind of a general topic though, anything more specific you can think of?

Any ideas for next weeks contest? One of the ones left over from last weeks idea was to make something using real world materials, such as clay, tape, chicken wire, etc.

The contest rules are pretty lax since for now it's only the title of the week's winner at stake. Later on if we start giving away prizes the rules will become a lot more strict. Go ahead and enter it as whatever though, that first one will count as just one entry.

RJMC, that is by far the best entry I have ever seen in paint. Very, very, good.

That could be cool. The other idea I've seen suggested was by Suicide42: "I think we should design a HL2 boss, or maybe do a contest where we make something real- out of cardboard and selotape, etc. that would be fun!" Making something in real-life, as in sculpture, would be something new...

Haha, haven't you seen the simpsons where Homer says "saveeeee me Jebus!"? I'm pretty sure he meant to say Jebus ;). Good luck on your next project though.

One more thing to recommend, don't be afraid to make some of the shading pretty dark. I notice some beginning artists don't shade dark enough in some places.

Whatever you guys want works for me. This contest has become somewhat of a more bi-weekly thing to allow more time for entries/judging because of the low turnout. This next one will start Monday, so get your ideas in now.

Looks pretty good overall. The one thing I might recommend the most would be adding some depth to the bird bath, it seems too flat. Great job though.
