well i pld the call of duty demo last night, had a little dabble and i was really impressed. think i will buy it, gimmi something to do instead of waiting for HL2

was bored so i decided to make my first thread. what kind of things to u think will be in the hl2 story, what kind of ending would u like to see/how do u think the ending will be. personally i think that the aliens from the first HL have taken earth, and that new alien race (the 'combine')...

thats a good question. im not quite sure, im thinking its maybe just a glass see through texture with maybe some zoom style function applied to it. (like a sniper zoom) im just guessing here so dont flame me :cheers:

they whole argument behind this is flawed. its like saying people's post count represents there intelligence, if a headcrab is an idiot, posts idiot replies to threads. once they get up a level they can then post idiotic threads, so its completely pointless

haha, nice post. the poll was good too. i wish ppl would stop going on about the hacking incident, personally i think we have scrutinised it enough. its nice to see ppl making posts about HL1 and also making up theories for things that have been shown in HL2 movies

im not sure that it is a nuke, if i remember correctly u are trying to launch a satellite, so that u can communicate with the outside world. after the black mesa disaster there is no communication outside of black mesa so the satellite is launched. i think i remember that right, point me out...

bit harsh summarising the HL2 community by one person. i dont see why u have to keep slicing up everyones posts and arguing why doom3 is going to be better. are u trying to get more ppl to get d3 or something, thats the only reasoning i can see

what makes HL2 different is that fact that every object has properties like weight density etc. its not like in old games, where objects are simply blocks with skins(textures) on top of them. what i like about HL2 is that there are tables etc with things on which can be knocked over and moved...
