Yeah, a widescreen option (or dynamic scaling, which would be easy except for the header image) would be nice. I'm using a widescreen monitor with 1680x1050 resolution and it barely takes up half the screen.
And I agree with Vegeta about the buttons, they stick out a bit too much.
