Hey southparksam,I am in NZ too. Have you been to Gameplanet thats where I pre-ordered.... but they have recently changed their release date to December(was Sept 30th for ages) sometime(whats up with the stores and all the different dates).

Local store here in NZ (Gameplanet) recently changed their date to December...........

I think that if its not released on Sept 30th, It will be very close....... Good theory Kamakiri.........

I sometimes seriously wonder how anything ever gets done anywhere...or do stores like this have a monoply!!! Lucky you didn't have to be anywhere urgently.......

I have been trying out resolutions greater than 800x600 and most of my games run nicely in 1024x768 so I think I will now see how HL2 handles that.............HL looks excellent at that res, just like the bink vids.

I just hope it goes "gold" soon and then we know it won't be far away.

If HL2 is delayed I can see their being riots and stuff... But I hope not.Not long to wait now. Generally people on this forum are good to chat to.....

800x600..I run everything at that res.(only have 15' monitor) As for vid options, not sure have to play around and see what works... I am just hoping for half decent frame rates(FX owner...no laughing!!!)

I totally agree!!! I believe we won't get a "gone gold" announcement. It will be on shelves Sept 30th like Valve have always said. 14 days and counting......................
