Liam Gallagher. Wouldn't understand a ****ing word in the movie but it'd still be a good laugh.
Seriously though, the Bond Movies have always sucked massively, so gives a shit who the next one is?, its going to blow.
It seems to me that health and ammo will be given to you by freidnly NPCs (like your fellow C17 insurgents) and enemies more than crates, because there's hardly any around. Barrels + Manipulator will be loads of fun though, I can't wait.
George Lucas needs to forget the original 3 and start remaking Ep 1 and 2, because they're shit.
If he slaps CG yoda into the original....that would just be a travesty. I'm not a star wars lunatic or anything, but thats like raping Empire Strikes Back.
Going to a store wouldn't hurt, to see what feels good in your hand, then you could just froogle it and buy it off of the net. I have an older logitech laser track-ball device, and I've never been able to go back to standard mouse. Some people don't like to have to adjust, but after you can...
Hey, does anyone one know if this next-gen Pixel Shader 3.0 will even ever be utilized before the 6800 is completely out of date? Won't U3 engine games require more Video Card ram than 256?
Personally I think I'll wait this one out...probably even pick up a used 9800Pro off of ebay once they...
Some chipsets, like mine, have stability issues when the cards, mobo, and drivers are alligned incorrectly (There's a technical reason but I'm not sure what it is). Sometimes AGP 8x just crashes the system.
Save up for the AMD Orville 4000+, you'll need a Mac motherboard--but the speed increases, plus the dirt cheap price will make it a hot commodity when its released on 9/30.
But isn't regular ram faster than the videocard's ram? Ignoring the fact that it isn't actually attached to the card? Lets say you had a gig of PC 4200 or whatever RAM, would it be a viable alternative to GPU ram?
After reading around the ATI sight I switched the SMARTGART setting down to 4x AGP and got Doom 3 and the ATI radeon tech demos to work...but the simpsons still crashes at start up, so I'm closer but not there yet.
Does anyone know what a BIOS AGP assistance feature does? Mine's on. And will...
Device manager says everythings fine. Simpsons hit and run is pretty simple graphically and it crashes the computer, fallout 2 works ok but its only a 2d game. I got a random screen corrupt followed shortly by a crash when I was only using IE.
I changed some bios things and I'm going to try...
Actually both games I've tried so far (The Simpsons Hit and run, and the Doom 3 beta) have both crashed before I culd even get to the real, 3d, part of either game...I don't really know what could've gone wrong...
I was talking abouit BIOS revisions, b ut nevermind, because now I think its working (atleast it hasn't shut down yet...this being the third try).
And SMARTGART says AGP 8x so yeah! Thank you very much.
Should I set the AGP level down in the BIOS and try to see if I can fix anything in windows? Maybe set the bios back down to a lower level (from 11 to 9)?
Can you update Gart by itself? Because I have the latest catalyst drivers, I installed them yesterday from the website.
My mobo is a socket-A kt400. Model: a7v8x-X.
I went to system devices but saw nothing with AGP or anything dealing with display adapters or graphics...maybe its...
