Exactly. If you remember the HDR Bink Video wasn't named like the others (ie Traptown, Bugbait) it was more of a Source tech demo. I've emailed Gabe about this last week and he hasn't replied. :frown:

Not necessarily true, I believe that it is in fact splash from the rounds. I'm not ruling out a boat in HL2 could be possible, but it's not in that screen shot.

Tom's Hardware might be slightly biased, but I tend to crunch the numbers and not put too much worth in the reviewer's opinion.
