Dude.. I was in a game once, and SilentKillar200K kept making gargling noises through voice chat, adn I couldn't find him, even though I searched all over, and it was freaking me out.... Then, Suddenly... the phone rang, and it was the cops, and they told me HE WAS VOICE MESSAGING ME FROM INSIDE...
And I would disagree with your disagreement. F.E.A.R. takes the mechanic of shooting and killing guys, and makes it so sweet that repeating it throughout the game never boring. I loved F.E.A.R.
What's up with the huge erect wrench, underscored by the 'PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS'. It almost poked my eye out.
Nice looking mods btw... congrats to them all.
Hmm.. I adjusted the mapcycle txt that i found in the 'Source Dedicated Server/hl2dm' folder, and I see those maps reflected in the 'map cycle' field of the server console. I would think that would work.
download the Source dedicated server, and run a local server that way. it gives you all the options you want. You can find the dedicated server under tools in the steam menu.
I'm sorry.. I'm sure it's a fine looking map, but this attitude is the bane of the mapping community. If you want something that is actually played on a regular basis, you can't map for the highest end computers. It's a waste of time, unless you are happy with a showpiece map that never sees...

Honestly, Valve missed their window years ago with TF2 (the TF2 we all read about). Valve is an 'innovative' company, and rehashing what Battlefield has done so well, just won't cut it. Also...do you think they have held this game so close and covert for this many years, to release a spinkee...
Hmm... with over 90 million playstation2 units sold, since its release, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say there may be quite a few people who give a flying **** about the PS3.
Half the battle of getting into this industry is getting exposure to the right people. They would be stupid NOT to advertise their mod, whether they thought they would finish or not. I doubt they did so with any mal intent.. I can't imagine that they sat back going "righto - so we pump this...
They 'are' game developers, and I'm sure will be great employees. This mod was a great experience for them - just making it to beta is a big accomplishment, and says much for their skills and commitment. It is unfortunate for the community that they are halting progress on the mod, but I don't...
