In Australia, are they going to make the game here, or are they shipping it from the U.S.? If they ship it, do you seriously take it by ship, or do they transport it via a plane? Doesn't it take A couple of months to travel the Pacific Ocean?
Not neccesarily. See, you think everyobody that buys games are hardcores that post on this forum. The people who are on this forum are a minority compared to the pathetic masses. The masses will buy whatever appeals to them, and this all depends on advertisement.
With a manipulator you are almost invincible. Against a few combine soldiers you can just pick up a random innate object, use it as a shield and then blast it at them. Something that i'd really like to do is some how trip Striders by blasting one of their legs away with the manipulator so they'd...
i thought the coastline had some cheesy songs, i liked hte drum and bass of it, but the melody crap was really bad. the trailer for hte game had excellent electronica music, though.
has it ever occured to you that it's a computer game? you know... entertainment. hell, the aliens in half life aren't real either, and city 17 doesn't even exist! omg this game is so stupid!
i always get owned in cs. i've hacked a few times (not on my comp, at my mate's cuz they did) and we only did it because it was fun. i'm actually quite dissapointed how Steam hasn't managed to block most of them. recently iv'e seen people hack in servers, and they use it blatant obviously.
i'd download and play it if it was 100% complete. i'm sick of wiating this bloody long just for stupid vivendi to have their view over the RC. of course when it'd come out i'd buy it, because i want a shiny box and multiplayer capabilities

that must be de_railroad, i loved that map. the vehicles were so dodgy in old hl1 but i can forsee excellent vehicular physics in cs:s. i mean the fact that you can bash a jeep around with a manipulator is awesome in hl2.
but the thing that annoys me is, EB and gamestop and stuff are game shops that sell only games, they specialise in games, logic says that the prices SHOULD be cheaper, not dearer
