In a big battle scene i always killed whoever was wining by most. That way they continue fighting and it is less work for me in teh end. I tried to use barney, but he kept...err....dying...mysterisally

I think what happened was all those isntances of CS/HL were using the same key, the same thing happened to me. So when you installed it was trying to use an account that already had a cdkey to it. Did you create mroe tahn 1 STEAMID?

Hey, i tried to do that, but i dont have any folders inside \steamapps\ All i have in there is 4 .gcf files. I have the feeling my comp just rejects steam, ive reinstalled like 8 times, never got into a game though. :-(

Well, mine wont install stuff, even though i downloaded the huge version i cant play anything. And it wont recognise my third party mods. HOw do i tell it to check for installed stuff again, it did it ages ago on the wrong installation of HALFLIFE so know it wont do it again!

It CAN work. Hasnt anyone played THe Specialists Mod for Half-life www.specialistsmod.net/ . If you havent i suggest you do, bullet time and slowdowns are handles perfectly. It is by far the best mod for halflife. So much action and such sexy slow downs. I cant say ive played max payne so i...

How do you know what content server you are getting your info from? In aus here we have caps, and i want to get it off this free site for me (ausgamers) Is it just from the picture below? And will restarting steam lots change the servers?

Yeah prolly just a side effect that means nothing that we make a big deal of. That grenade launcher thing shoots something more the size of a...grenade...im guessing. Im guessing that thing has like an incindary nade, gas nade, explosive nade etc. LIke in....Unreal 2 i think it was. Fuzzy

Wouldnt that be the ammo stuff in the RPG from the buggy movie? I was wondering though, they look like freaking ICBMs from that ammo indicator thing. EDIT: made little sense.
