There are people on all boards that are real assholes. The trick is to not give a shit what they think, cuz they're obviously worthless, and concentrate on people that have constructive input.
Yeh, I have the same problem right now. I checked so see about Steam's status, and there were a LOT of servers down. There was still plenty of bandwidth left though, so I don't get what's goin on. Not only did I have trouble viewing the videos through Steam, I had trouble logging on. It took...
I have always gone with NVidia for my video cards, but since the 9800, I just have to go with ATI. I have always liked the features I've gotten with Nvidia drivers, but those features can't outweigh the performance difference. (and ATI may have really good driver features now too). Anyways, I...
Yeh, that's probably what I'll do, Fox. Unless they make this a little more clear when official news about it is released, and it sounds like a good deal from the start. I have a friend that might want to use this subscription to start with, though, because he doesn't have 50 bucks up front to...
I have this same question. I would subscribe, but what if I wanted to stop subscribing. Would I get to keep Half-Life 2 if I had payed an amount equal to it's price or what? That's the only thing that bothers me about subscriptions.

I was wondering if you bought Half-Life 2 in the box, and it corresponds your Half-Life 2 with your steam account, will you still have the capability of downloading the game from somewhere else over Steam? My impression so far has been that if you purchase over Steam, then you can download from...
I just HAVE to know. What is so wrong about these "delay threads"? I don't think I've read anything on here any more important than these threads aside from the information from valve thread, so what's the big f*ckin deal? It just drives me nuts when people get pissed off about people posting...
They really shouldn't affect the 3d performance. Actually, the way they're made it is basically like taking the radeon 9800 and an ati tv tuner and smackin them together. Sounds like a good deal to me. Plus, I've had pretty good results with my ATI Tv Tuner and it's a value edition.
P.S...
I think that the red logo is kind of out of place, but the "loading" isn't a bad idea. It would be better if you made it yourself out of a different font and color that blended in slightly though.
I bet it could be done. I wonder if they're are level of intelligence build into the AI? If there are, you could just give the Marines higher intelligence and far more health.
I have a GeForce4MX 440 (not SE), and not only that, but it's a PCI version of the card. This card is so bad, partially due to it being PCI. My GeForce2 MX 400 was MUCH better than this card. Again, I can't compare to yours because I don't know how much of a performance hit this card takes...
I'm getting an extra 256mb of DDR for a total of 896MB of RAM unless I get an extra 512 putting me at 1.125 GIGS. I'm also getting a Radeon 9800, but to do so, I have to upgrade my motherboard and powersupply. Since a new power supply won't fit in my p.o.s. case, I have to get a new case (with...
I'm gonna be getting a new case to fit my new power supply that will be powerful enough for the Radeon 9800 I'm getting. Also, buying new motherboard so that I will HAVE AN AGP SLOT. :-) Seriously, this IBM I got last fall came without an AGP slot. (I thought it was basically a standard...
