dx9 doesnt have much to do with audio heh. look at doom3, it's openGL, and is supposed to have some of the best 5.1 surround sound. who would have thunk ;)

bottlnecking will effect fps, but only 25 fps? and with a x800 in dod?!? thats a bit stretch. try changing your resolution higher or lower and see what happens.

lol that would suck. all the anticipation, all the waiting, and patience, you finally get hl2, you load it up, see the loading screen, your in shock that you about to play hl2, you start playing the game...first scene of the game...and all of a sudden your screen goes blue.. owned by the BSOD...

im seeing 32 players max on stalker servers at the official site. but as far as 120 guys, you might need a mod for that lol. and a damn nice server ;)
