the lawsuit is about Valve telling VUG that the steam release would be minor... not about IP. IP has nothing to do with it. I assume VUG is suing Valve to stop them from selling it over steam and/or recouping any lost profits from steam sales.
so how do you get it from clipping through walls and game geometry when you get too close? Every other game has the hands simply going through the wall.

you can't use the T1, you said they blocked the ports.
So dial-in to the internet with aol, run steam, get hl2 working, disconnect, make sure hl2 is working, uninstall aol, cancel account.
you have to either have an ati card which came with a voucher for HL2 for free, or own counter-strike: condition zero.
once it stops being beta, youll have to use your voucher or buy it online.... which could be as soon as today.
