i have the a8v deluxe, and i only tried the onboard sound once (on accident actually). But, it sounded no different then my Audigy 2. although, i heard that they dont have a dedicated processor for the onboard, so, it uses the actual processor which might slow down some apps/ games with really...

i have that case too and im lovin it. nice and large, and great airflow.

my monitor does that as well, although my gfx card (9700Pro) overheats quite a bit... im guessing its the gfx card... and the monitor is also fairly new.
