How could it not? Consider the alternatives... Only great PC games that came out this year were Farcry, Doom3, Sims2 and Rome Total War. And by great games, I mean ones that sell and are well recieved by the general public and reviewers, cause personally I hate the Sims. Farcry so far is GOTY...

Serves them damn right for delaying the damn game! Stupid as hell, and a shame of course, but if they had only stuck to their original release date, no one would care about a dumb hacked version of unfinished code. Smarten up Valve and just release the game already!

Highly unlikely.. There might be a small demo released with the 9800xt cards, or a benchmark soon, but I doubt it will be from the e3 footage we seen.

Who cares what the reason is seriously.. the game is DELAYED.. whether it's steam or not, it's not going to bring the game closer to us. They will release it when they are ready too. And nobody else notice that poor old Fak3r hasn't said anything else since he got his thread closed by Munro...

I second that.. I just spent 500 Canadian on my new card before the 9800 pro came out, and if they think this little pos 9600xt is going to outperform my 500 dollar card for 300 bucks less, then they are sadly mistaken... it's not even going to outperform my damn GF4ti4600 for crying out loud...
