I think it was a bit short but I wouldn't want just more headcrabs and zombies, maybe a gonarch in there would've spiced it up, or collapsing part of the mine, or both ;)
There's a big green crate with infinite rockets in when you fight the 2 gunships.
I liked the first chapter when you look outside and see the city, and of course "pick up the can"
They won't / can't / shouldn't do the 7 hour war.
Mostly because most of the 7 hours would be Breen negotiating "surrender" while striders walk around lasering stuff up.
Probably some nice big bombs dropped that wipe out most of the cities on earth too.
I want a headcrab launcher. You can shoot them with the primary fire of grav gun to kill them in 3 hits with it, why can't I pick them up and headcrab me some combine?! (Yes I am aware that, like Gordon, the combine wear helmets and so can't be zombified, but could always shoot Breen or some...
Just a thought here, but maybe the crowbar has become a symbol of Freeman and the resistance like the lambda sign?
That and Barney thought it might come in handy.
Rarely works and is a really bad idea but you can try using the primary fire on an object just as the person fires it at you. If it works it'll suddenly fly back and kill them, if not you're dead :/ More often than not for me it's the latter.
I want to see excessively violent uses for the technology in aftermath.
Oh my, Gordon, you appear to have ripped off a combine's arm with the gravity gun.
Oh and use the local teleport stuff to teleport grenades inside enemies.
Hell yeah.
