yea, MS owns the rights because MS owns Rare, who made Goldeneye I don't think they'll be shut down though, they've been going for a while, and i'm guessing if they haven't been shut down yet, that they won't

if you want people to join, especially with mapping and coders, your going to have to go way in-depth with what they will be doing, such as what types of levels they will be designing, or what the coders will have to under-go while coding for this mod, and you have to remember not everyone has...

talk about mucho difficil coding there... take a FPS engine and turn it into a real time strategy game engine... v_v while it sounds cool on paper it would be extremely tough to pull off
