Yeah try the 12volt square connector.
When i changed Mobos a long time ago, the new one had 12 volt, and i didnt even know it after like an hour of looking at it.

3dmark is no reason to buy a card.
For example, the 9600xt scores a crap load higher on 3dmark05. Then the 5900xt.
Yet it performs much better in games.
as a point of reference, the puter in my sig. was 1100-1200.
This includes, a 280watt surrond sound system, 3 hard drives, a ups, and a joy stick.
Granted, you have a better cpu, and video card.
But still overpriced.

Well basicly, i threw in all my old drives.
Running at a total of about half a terabyte now.
Plan to get a terabyte raid set up by next summer.
And yes i got mad movies/games/tv/music :D
I notice a huge difference with sata raid, over my previous ide 7200s.
I use 2 80gig WD 7200s 8mb buffer.
I load BF maps in 10-20 seconds, compared to 30-40 before upgrade.
Not to mention windows starts blazin.
I would make your own.
I also find dell to be the only good mainstream desktop company.
While on the otherhand, i find IBM are on par with Dells.
I would suggest building your own.
If you cant, and you got money to burn, alienwares are good. but expensive.
I could build you one :D
