Seemed like a really low price.
Re-certified means previously owned; something broke, it was repaired by the manufacturer; so it may have scratches, or chips. Regardless, I think you can send it back, check the return policy
EDIT:
I just read the reviews, and they are generally not great; missing parts and shit. Maybe this wasn't worth mentioning, sorry.
Or you might get 'lucky'.

Pros: I was mildly worried, as I heard a couple horror stories of folks receiving bad refurbs. However, this Wii seems like it's barely been used... Even the shell lacks the scratches that one positive reviewer pointed out. There's even brand new manuals with the system!
Cons: Not much of anything.
- No bottom to the Wii stand
- No stand for the 'wiiceiver'
- No Wii Sports
- No Wiimote slips
Not exactly things I care much about, and most definitely not essential to the experience. Also, I already have Wii Sports and Wiimote slips from my last Wii (which randomly died on me about a year ago).
