Me and my brother were discussing it, and he said he wants it for the 360 so I laughed at him
 
Source won't run full graphics on 360 and the mouse is better than controller so...PC.
 
i'm going to end up getting it for both.

Most likely PC first, then 360 when my brother and my cousin gets it.
 
I'm surprised this is even coming to 360, it's such a PC-centric game. Oh well, Valve needs to make their money.
 
Neither, its not like Valve will keep the console version updated and I refuse to play on the PC (I suck with a mouse and keyboard)
 
Start learning, we all had that problem a long time ago, you must get used to it or you are missing out on so much...

PC, I thought about 360 as well but the controller issue will be extremely annoying and the 360 is going to have a split screen local game option, which means the game running twice in split screen. Valve had to make some source engine optimisations to accommodate this, and these reductions in quality to play L4D smoothly, would grind with me.

Woah, someone has brought their troubles with them to the internets today. **** all you guys, you suck. When L4D comes I'm going freelance, I don't need a team...

I found that players on the 360 are neither asshats nor five year olds nor achievement whores. Thus I have found the PC world to suck.

Oh man, thanks, I needed that.
I've played Halo 3, Gears of War, SOCOM, and Project Gotham... and every game I ever joined had atleast 2 pre-pubescent children mouthing off and calling people n*ggers or other racial slurs combined with various swear words, I never saw anything about achievements but people probably can't be bothered, it's easier to get them on the PC.
Consoles attract 90% of the asshats and 5 year olds, simply because mommy and daddy pay for everything.
 
Methinks he's a little ticked off from the constant assault.

Every time someone makes makes one of these incredibly annoying threads, it turns into a 360/PS3 bash.


ACHTUNG

Some of us can use a controller well.

Some of us could probably beat many of you if cross-platform games were more of a reality.

Stop ****ing telling us that since YOU can't use a controller that it is a clearly an inferior control system.

I play with Emporius and a few other folks I know on COD4 all the time, we have many good games against not many assholes. The occassional five year old or obnoxious guy I can take. But the general PC realm has attracted more dickheads then I've ever seen. FFS, PC games have something called "ACHIEVEMENT SERVERS" where people bash and kick you if you step in the wrong direction. So shut the **** up and stop telling me that I'm a ****ing newb for playing on a 360.
 
It seems to me that you're essentially pissed about TF2, which I don't even play, so yeah... I never experience these asshats in other games.
 
Assuming it comes to the PS3, I will buy it for both the PC and the PS3 :)

You realise they're having to implement a system that monitors players on Xbox Live because so many people were flooding online modes with achievement servers? Gears of War was especially prone to this. The way I see it, there are assholes everywhere, don't use it as an excuse to bash PC.

Would like to get it on PC, but the fact I could sit down and play this with friends swings me towards the 360.
 
I still haven't decided whether to get it. But if I buy it, definitely for the PC. Because I don't have, and don't plan to get, a 360.

I disagree actually. This game heavily emphasises working with friends to conquer a challenge. XBobx live is very convinient for arranging to play with friends so this will work quite nicely on that system, ps3... not so much. It seems though that the PC version will be similar where you create parties and invite people or go on a public one.. should be good and new..

Im personally gonna get it on 360 and pc... PC because it will be better, and 360 to play with my friends who are gonna get it...
 
I'm getting it for PC, but that could change in the coming months.

Only because comms aren't a standard in pc gaming. There are just as many twats playing pc games - you just can't hear them. The trick to Live is to play with a bunch of mates - then you don't have to worry about the odd annoying teenager.

I'll likely end up with L4D on both formats.
 
PC at first but no doubt ill pick up the 360 version at some point for playing with friends.
