There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties from the quake, which rattled furniture and walls in Tokyo, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The agency said there was no danger of tsunami from the quake.

The United States Geological Survey gave a preliminary magnitude reading of 7.1 for the quake, which was centred in the Izu Islands some 200 miles southwest of Tokyo.

Vegeta is dead, guys.

Alrigh, alright, mabye I should turn off my vibrator.

I heard about this on the news; it sounds like no one was injured or killed, besides Vegeta.

Unlike many countries, Japan is prepared for disasters such as earthquake.

I never lived in a country or city with earthquakes, but it must be freaky when you're 20 stories high and the floor is shaking.

Apparently, the earthquake was nothing to them. Japan is full of fearless people. :o

I bet, it's freaky enough it happens where I live my Monitor almost fell of the desk good thing I have ninja reflexes but I did get hid on my head by one of my desk ornaments.
It's a indescribable feeling 1 was enough to satisfy my curiosity although I have been through 3 small ones now.

I experienced my first small earthquake about a year and a half ago. Happened around 2 in the morning. I had just turned the tv off and was laying on the couch and all of a sudden, everything started rattling for about 30 seconds. I was more amazed than scared, because it was my first experience.

Yeah, the Japanese just make their buildings so that they can move to accomidate shaking from earthquakes. If you shake the ground hard enough you can make them dance, but that only happens on a 8.5 and upwards

im going to tokyo wooooooooot!!1

Pssh, this is nothing compared to what California will get in the near future. After the last earthquake here, which was a 5.3, seismologists predicted that an earthquake with 1000 times greater magnitude will strike, so an 8.3 or so is expected.

Scary stuff.

And Yellowstone is going to erupt and take the rest of us out with it. You can always live in fear or you can just try to live out the rest of your days as best as you can.

it wasn't an Earthquake, it was just Lindsey Lohan's stomach growling in the airport

I like how even a big quake like this hardly rattles the Nips.

A baseball game in Yokohama between the Yokohama Bay Stars and Chunichi Dragons was stopped temporarily by the umpire when the quake struck. Some high-speed bullet trains also were halted, but began running again after the shaking stopped.

Plus it seemed that noone got hurt.

I fear the day.

The plan they have in place would actually pave over the entire existing city and start over. It is singularly the most expensive and advanced in the world. They could accomplish this faster than anyone else too.
