A little map... (56k burns in hell)

Can I ask what you mean with not wanting it to be on public servers yet? Do you mean non-password protected servers, or what? Cause I run a server for my clan, and it's open to the public, but I was really hoping to drop this map on there and have some playtest time with it with 24 people. A lot of our members are mappers and could give some great constructive feedback. (Plus I'd like to play the map without having to use a UK server)
 
What I meant is that it's not a "proper" release. Playtesting is fine, but I don't want to see it in regular map rotations.
 
Server is up now, running the correct map.
 
Good map, very big, looks proffesional, needs skybox. Like the underground tunnels like the run-away cart and the tesla generator. My only problem is, its a bit too big for my tastes but I will still play it and I still love it, like I like the Rats map but it kinds of spoils it being that open, always pinned down by snipers :(
 
I heavily revised the blue and red bases, making them about 30% smaller and therefore less open.
 
The next release should be (hopefully) the last one before I do a final release. I've had a lot of useful feedback (mainly thanks to Crispy here) and I've fixed a lot of stuff. I'll get one out tonight, assuming I get to finish up today.
 
So when its finished we'll have a new map on .net server :D
 
It's sat patiently waiting for me to finish the skybox, then I'll release it. Christmas kind of got in the way.
 
Wow, resurrection!

I've been kind of busy with Tide's Reach recently, but after browsing through my screenshots directory, I felt that I just had to finish ctf_omega off.

Really, all that needs doing is some prop placement, the skyboxes and soundscapes. However, I had a fit of pique and completely redid the red base. Thusly (with blue base for comparison):

That's some nice lighting you've got there. Has the layout changed at all, on the surface of it the changes look purely cosmetic.

/still thinks corridors may be too thin in areas...

I already widened the tunnel sections. All the other indoor areas are similarly proportioned to the Valve maps.
Layout-wise, it's the same. It just looks bigger now it has a skybox (which you haven't seen yet)
 
Dear lord, what an awesome map! This looks like it could be really popular. I love the feel of the place, but it looks to be impossible to actually capture the intel in just one life.
 
Blue lighting wouldn't look right, but point taken. I just wanted to show that there were vents behind there, and everyone knows that vents are always lit with red lights :p

I've switched it to a dull yellow instead.
