Valves PR worked untill the game was delayed, just look at all the hype they created for HL2. If Valve fail tremendously with the second round of hype then I think they should start thinking about fireing people.
I don't know what you mean about "treated like they don't even exist", the Valve information thread is concrete proof that they do listen to us and our ideas. If you read through it you will see that some of the valve employes have added features to the game and it's modding tools after reading somones email.
If you think they have some how harmed you in anyway by only anounceing the delay a day before it happened then i suggest you sue for damages otherwise please stop whining like little toddlers. Developers can't be reasureing you with dates and information when there's no reasurence to be given and quite frankly it really doesn't matter that much.

I'm not 'hurt' by Valve's screwup, just severly annoyed. If this was the only time they f'd up then maybe I wouldn't be whining so much, but after TF2 and CS:CZ? Gimmie a break already. If this is Valve's pattern then maybe they shouldn't say jack until the game in question has actually gone gold. Oh wait, CS:CZ went gold in Nov didn't it? Nevermind.

Man, anyone who says that should be banned the heck outta here. It's not just a video game. It's much more than that. We, who are pissed, are talking about everything that happened (or should I say "NOT") in all these months.
It's perfectly normal to be angry, frustrated and tired of all the silence. It doesn't mean that we're obsessed losers and that we care about nothing except this game. I believe that it's a question of respect. It used to be mutual, but now it's all goin down the drain. Because of us ? Hell no !
No-one knows the real reason why all of this has happened. And it isn't that important really. It's the respect that missing. The smallest thing in world. Valve don't owe us sh*t some say...
Wrong ! They owe us a lot. We all owe eachother a lot ! Regardless if we are software guru's or janitors. (I didn't mean this to sound cheesee
) I feel personally betrayed. I really felt a great deal of appreciation towards them, but now it's gone. It's a pity it turned out like this, I'm sure things will not go back as they were before...
