Your not alone Pitz, I am not for the whole "listen to garbage rap while shooting gangsters in a big ol' gang war"
 
I thought everyone knew GTA4 was a relative departure from the gameplay/story/music/theme of San Andreas?
 
I chose prototype mostly because I'm sick to death of GTA and it still looks the same as the others to me o_O

I'll wait for the reviews to be the judge of the matter. I've seen too many games that have promised to be different and then come out relatively the same. I mean it's GTA you can't change the gameplay mechanics that much now can you?
 
sure.

You can make it a military style game kinda, GTA:VCS started out like that, than moved down to a failing spot.

I'd love to see a GTA character in the military with a side job as a drug dealer.
 
My point is that GTA4 isn't going to be the same "gang banging, rap music, and annoying blaxploitation" kind of game that San Andreas was. Gangs and tongue-in-cheek racial stereotypes are still in the game, because GTA has always been about that sort of thing; the difference this time is that it's a) no longer poorly written and developed, and b) no longer a central theme of the game and the story.
 
Oh well gta 4 at least gets plus from me on that front. I hated SA alot.

1. an M-16 with grenade launcher not military enough for you?

2. Tony Montana was in the Cuban army. He has military skill's.

3. He's in Florida a civilian enviroment.

4. Well you got me there. But in the game you can get a Hummer with a 50 cal. on it.

6. It is Scarface the game.
 
Okay. But besides "buyers would be afraid to decline" (I don't see how that translates to a proper game mechanic besides just making it easier), you could do all that but without the drug dealing. I don't see why that part is so important, besides lowering the already questionable moral standards of a game with military action in a civilian environment. But then I suppose it does seem like objective numero uno with any sandbox game now is "make it as big of a target as possible for the soccer mums".

3. Not too urban though, too bright of a sun, you spelled Environment wrong

Anyone taking GTA this seriously needs to not take GTA this seriously. It's really annoying.
 
GTA on this poll, hands down. Especially after the multiplayer news.

Putting a game like Spore on this poll is unfair due to the ecsess freedom you have in it. More so then any game currently on the pole.
 
Putting the best sandbox game in the best sandbox game poll is unfair because it'd win!
