I'd want to be able to pause time - with that, you could jury rig just about anything else, plus it'd be great for those times when you've got stuff to do but you're on the last level of Half Life 2, for instance.

But if you pause time, you won't be able to play that last level of HL2. Everything but you will be stopped

I'd have to go with either Teleportation (teleporting into someone's house, yelling BOO!, and disappearing) or telekinesis (throw people around, win a whole lot of arm wrestles, screw around with heavy construction equipment, etc). Overall... Telekinesis.

Mind control, definately 'cause from there you do pretty much anything, no matter what. Whereas, if you had, say super-strength, you could not do nearly as much as you could do as if you had mind control . Think, people... think! Hehe.

Well yeah, that'd be part of the power - you'd be able to control what was and wasn't stopped - i.e. you'd be able to create, say, a 'time bubble' around whatever you wanted to keep time running for.

Ooh, sneaky :thumbs: But... With telekinesis, I could create a bubble of air around a leather chair, and fly myself all around the universe. And with practice, I'd learn to manipulate electrons, neutrons and protons, so I'd never run out of oxygen :E

superman wasn't invincible, he was just really strong and tough and could fly and all that jazz. but even without kryptonite, superman got his ass killed at least once, so he certainly wasn't invincible.

edit: buttlord gt? what the?... man, i just watched like 5 episodes on cartoon network last summer.. all i remeber is goku and some green dude..

anyway, invincibility would be boring. picking a super power isn't all about what would make you win in a fight or something, it's about what would be fun/interesting too. every single choice up there is better than invincibility, imo.

How can you even compare the two? Superman is invincible, faster than a speeding bullet, can fly, and has x-ray vision.... Batman is just a guy that works out a lot.

I voted invincibility...but being Goku would practically be all cool superpowers combined. The only thing missing would be travelling in time on command.
