Means that if you're healing as a medic during setup then you'll automatically get an uber. The flat rate is equal to the damage "grinding" before the update.

Restricted sound engine updates to a max of 100fps

Fixed the problem with mp_maxrounds not correctly counting the number of rounds for Dustbowl after the scoring change

Fixed cloaked/disguised/disguising spy reporting his achievements to everyone else
Added the ability for servers to have map-specific .cfg files in the cfg folder (missed in yesterday's release notes)

Today's update has messed up the sounds and the muzzle flashes.
 
Yeah the guns have more "oomph" to them. I like it, but the muzzle flash can be so intrusive that it's hard to keep a bead on a target. I was trying to chase down a sniper as a scout and it was like I had a flashbang go off in my face every time I fired.
 
The guns sound like shit now.

It's like half their proper sound file is played instead.
 
Another mini-update came out. Did this fix the sound problem?
 
what the hell is this 'civilian' thing people are talking about?
 
It was a bug where players could join an extra class, "civilian". No weapons and no model of their own - they were basically skating, slow, T-pose Scouts. Useless.
 
New scattergun and machine pistol muzzle flashes are ****ing horrible
 
^1st time I saw them I think that is bug I think "TF2 can't have so mofoing muzzles". Next time I played I realised that is tru :/

huh I played 15 mins ago and noticed that those muzzles are looking better like those one from preview vids.
 
has anyone else noticed that they have tweeked the sound of the shotguns?
 
And sentries also sentries sounds like they are firng less bullets :S
 
Is it just me or is there a cool new effect when people go on teleport entrances?
 
It's not just you. Those are the "player-shaped particles" that the update fixed. I think they also fall off the player after teleporting, in addition to the glowing ring that was there before.
 
I'm just glad they stopped idiot demos spamming over the map in Dustbowl. Although I miss being able to shoot through the gates. Was always fun killing noobs there :)
 
Ah as pyro I still burn noobz thru gates :D

* Removed an obscure rendering setting that would allow players to make cloaked spies appear fully black

Oh well. At least Engineers can't be boosted to insane places.
 
Well that fix just made me stop using sniper, I already sucked with him anyway D:
 
How would you make someone go into the air with the syringe gun?
 
Ah, after reading another post, shooting peoples soles would apparently do this. I will have to try it.
