Boy Scouts and "government funding"

If they can waste thousands of dollars on a single hammer or $250,000,000 for a bridge in Alaska to connect the mainland to a little island with 50 INHABITANTS (yes, that would be $5,000,000 per person if they had to pay) I could see them wasting that much money on it, especially since it happens quite frequently, considering the number of boy scout troops that participate in similar events across the nation. If our government is #1 at anything... it's wasting money.

Millions of dollars?

With that outrageous of a claim, you are going to need a source.

As for the source for the lawsuit...search for it yourself if your going to play that game.
I hope NewsMax, the most conservative news site on the net, is good enough of a source for you:

The government aid, which amounted to $6 million and $8 million respectively for the jamborees in 1997 and 2001, was used to transport military personnel and other goods there, according to Manning's March order. The government expected to pay about $7.3 million for this year's jamboree.

Now, I am still waiting for an example of an ACLU case that was anti-american and designed to help terrorists kill Americans.

I've just skimmed over the last couple of pages, so I'm not going to say anything in-depth.

I'll just say that anybody who thinks the ACLU is a pro-terrorist/anti-American organization has their head shoved far up their ass. Yes, like anything, it is fallible and is not always right in its actions. But the belief that it is anything more devious than that is completely ludicrous and the product of either idiocy or brainwashing.

Its about brainwashing from listening to people like Bill O'Reilly who stated Hitler would be a ACLU member or Rush who stated the ACLU is the biggest threat to this country.

Well they do support an agenda, so they aren't even supporting their main purpose anymore. Read the link cptstern posted, it has the evidence of them supporting an agenda in it.

who? Oreilly again? please I dont think he even understands what the ACLU is all about. Could you quote a real journalist cuz I dont consider Oreilly's kneejerk rhetoric and outright lying as impartial journalism

--->Hitlers youth! does it ring a bell?

No, should it? Are you actually comparing the boy scouts to the Hitler Youth? You need to watch the history channel a little bit to see what the Hitler Youth really was. Don't forget the YMCA, they may be the begining of the next crusades. What about 4H? I am sure that you can make a comparision about a bunch of kids learning about farming and livestock. come on, I know that you can do it
