Bush looking to halt election in case of terror attack! DISTURBING!

Well it would amaze me if it actually got delayed, even during the civil war elections went on schedule, for christs sakes, who doees he think he is?
 
Democracy? More like a dictatorship - the only difference being they first have to fill you full of lies to make you think that what they want to do is the right thing to do...

If the eletions get suspended i'd imagine more and more of you will realise this truth also.
 
I may not be an American, but the sooner your country gets rid of that trigger-happy idiot hick the better. I hear his father said to the Queen on a state visit that there was "one in every family' referring to a then younger doubya'. I also read that the bottom twenty-odd states (ranked by average IQ) were the ones who voted him in in the first place.

Well, Kentuckty (where I live) is on that list, and I can tell you, its all true! :( However thats the average... I hate bush, I believe the last time I checked my IQ was well above 92 and well... *sigh* I don't make anywhere near $16,000 a year... But hey! Two out of three aint' bad :) And I still hate bush

MAn...just yester I as talking to my best friend and telling him about John Titor...I explained what a hack he was...but I told him if we erupted into civil war in Janurary 2005 (which is when he said it would happen) I told him that I would take him and my girlfriend to a underground bunker....then I said "Bah, it's never going to happen..." now look at it...second thoughts...grrrr
 
When Civil War brakes out, whom do you want to kill first? I personally will hunt down Justin Terriblelake and put two in his head. Actually come to think of it, I will organize a group that would hunt down white wiggaz from da suburbs. Anyone want to join me?
 
Hmmmm.....i don't think anyone else has picked up what exactly this story actually means or just jumped to wild conclusions. The department of Homeland security are looking at if it would be a possible, in case of a large attack against the American government buildings, etc, if they would be able to delay the elections. This means that if Congress is blown up and many people killed, the election would be delayed till next year. It does not mean:

1. Bush is trying to delay the elections because of a possible attack, or
2. Bush is trying to start a civil war in American.

I think perhaps some of you are taking this a bit too far. It certainly isn't a good thing to hear, but I highly doubt it would lead to a civil war like the one everyone has been talking about for the past 7 pages. Calm down people! :p

Nothing seemed wrong with him at the time, but he certainly has gone a little bonkers since he "lost". He has become a little too left for me, but at the time I wanted him to win.

That state list is funny. Bush has made over thirty visits to Pennsylvania, but I hope we do the right thing again. I will be voting for Kerry come november.
 
As long as HL2 isnt delayed by the civil war, have fun and dont come home crying when u lost ;)
 
So because people with an average or slightly lower than average IQ and income voted bush in it means hes got to go? Talk about elitist...Just because someone has a lower IQ doesn't mean their say should count for less. Besides IQ means pracically nothing at all, being as most of the test are designed by left brain people and also requir prior knowladge (something that is completely unrelated to intelligence)

You know, there are other parties besides the DemocRATS and Republicans ;o. Check out the Constitutionalist and Libertarian parties.

They get money if they get a percent of the vote. When people say "I'm not voting because there's only 2 and I don't like them" are the people who should vote for a third party. How can they say "but that's a waste" if they weren't going to vote anyway?! It's stupid.

Please. If the EU became powerful nation-like entity, at least one if not many more of the sub-nations would want to consolidate that power for their own good.
 
I've just finished watching 9/11 and pretty much read some of this thread straight after... and it wouldn't suprise me if Bush did halt the election, and use excuse after excuse for halting them even further... he wont get a second term, and is a ****ing wanker imo.
