http://www.isbushwired.com/

what do you think ?

now im not saying that he was wearing a wire, because i dont know, im just saying it looks suspicious.

listen to that mp3 if you can or view the video.

http://nyc.indymedia.org/usermedia/audio/6/bush-let_me_finish.mp3

"In the middle of an answer last night bush said, "now let me finish" as if someone was interrupting him- yet nobody did- he was talking to the person in his earpiece.

oooohh if it's true ...that's very bad indeed ...could be why at times bush seemed to pause before giving his answers ...but in the end, till it's proven it's just a rumour

Heh, and the Republicans wanted to nail Kerry for getting a pen.

EDIT: the article is way too speculative for my taste tho.

Actually Bush could have back problems, no one really knows. He spoke so awfully anyway in that debate.

Bush is a horrible public speaker. Do you think having somebody talking in his ear would help him? I think it would make him worse.

Anyways, who wears a receiver on their back?

well the fact that he's a horrible speaker could lend credence to the accusation that's he's wearing a wire

Bush still kinda lost the debate I guess you could say....So it doesn't really matter now. :D

well, it would be a mild scandal (i guess) if it came out that he did have a wire. considering his performance, i'd be very sad about the country were it true ;(

I don't think he lost, he was much more human than Kang....Uh...Kerry. :p ;)

Anyway, why would they use a wire that is about a centemetre thick? I think that the secret services, having had much experience in these matters, would know how to conceal a wire. They could have even had no wire at all, ans simply had the reciever , its power etc up near his neck (Where was it in his ears anyway?). Even better, why not just hide a man in the audience who would cough to give the answers.

most likely body armor. the rest of the article is pure speculation

body armour? that only covers 3 inches of his back? ....meh maybe that's where his heart is

I agree though, pure speculation till we have facts

Yeah how would they give him answers? There was nothing in his ears. It would have to be broadcast over a speaker which Kerry could have heard. He said 'let me finish' because his time was up for that specific question. Honestly people, dont comment on it if you didnt watch the debate.

FYI there is a 30 second green light. A 10 second warning for the red light. When the red light blinks his time was up. The red light was blinking and the head debate guy was about to tell him his time was up because after the red blinking light comes a verbal warning.

Bush lost that debate so it really doesnt matter if he cheated by using an ear piece! Still i wouldnt vote for a president who cant think and debate his ideas on his own!

Yeah, i've been wondering about the body armor thing.

Anyone else notice that Bush sometimes looks bigger than he should? Like he suddenly put on 10 lbs around his upper body. Mostly this happens when he is out in public, but i've never heard anyone else say he is wearing body armor.

I think Bush is wired...yeah I could see the long strings attached on his arms and legs during the speech that go upward into the sky...:p

kerry doesn't need body armor, b/c he's a big, strapping man's man.

psh, he has already been wounded, twice isn't it?

bullets can't harm kerry's strong jaw or determined demeanor. his presidential stances and decisive expressions ward off offending weaponry.

plus, Kerry is just such a pretty man, who would want to shoot him?

It's obviously body-armor. He wore the same thing when he pitched the b-ball at y stadium before, same bulge in the back and everything.

Whoa! Did my eyes just deceive me? Your telling people not to comment on something unless they watched it? This doesn't quite seem to match your ealier position on the topic, seeing as earlier you were exhaustively arguing that you do not need to see a political movie to comment on it:

http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39653&page=4&pp=15&highlight=41.11

I take it you've changed your mind on the topic now?

Hmm, it seems you've "Flip-flopped" on the issue, so to speak..... ;)

I feel an argument cooking, which basically means I'll refresh to see the thread has grown 4.3 pages in the past 5 seconds. That's a little request I'd like to make actually. Could everyone just slow down with these debates? See I'd love to hop in, but by the time everything is ready, and I'm about to post my say, it's already been argued to death and you're all on a new topic! I'm slow, give me a buffer :(

I don't understand the body armor part, because if you use a sniper rifle with a scope there would be no reason to shoot at the chest...an assassin would go for the head.

Well the chance of a random guy in a crowd pulling out a small pistol and getting off a shot at the chest is greater than that of a sniper picking him off from a distance.

ah, but you are assuming there is somethig valuable within his head that needs protecting...

True, they could always just perform a transplant. I hear Cheney is on the donor list.

Just dishing it out tonight eh Timmy? :)

To quote Mel Gibson in The Patriot, "Aim small, miss small." Or was that his little kids?

Actually, recalling the debate, I remember he ran out of time and the PBS guy was about to cut him off. It didn't seem out of place at all in the debate when it took place.

You and your in context liberal pin-head ideas!

How can you be conservative if you look at the entire picture!

I'm not saying there's any substance to the charge of a wire, but you've got your history completely mixed up.

The red light was not blinking; the green light had just come on. The President paused for a good 1.5 seconds, making it appear as if he was done. But he wasn't.

The moderator must have made a movement, as if he was going to start a new question, or a sixty-second extension.

That's all that happened.

I just think it's a retaliatory attack to the allegations of Kerry cheating with his magic pen :O

Oh and nice work Neutrino, Seinfeld disappeared from the thread!
