Call of Duty II (looks ****in dope)

Yay more World War 2 games - now that's an original game concept!

This is what I've been saying for aaages. Pissed off Stern, I did

We got some Call of Duty 2 news. This has not been confirmed and to be honest we don't know where this is from but here it is anyway.
American SP Campaign (2 Large Missions)
1) Omaha Beach, Battle of the Bulge, Africa, Italy - 7 or 8 small separate missions
2) Pacific Theater

British Campaign (1 Large Mission)
1) Africa, El Alamein, Tobruk - SAS missions

Russian Campaign (1 Large Mission)
1) Stalingrad, Kursk, defending Moscow, the final assault on Berlin

Out of those, half the Russian ones were already in CoD, I believe the expansion did Battle of the Bulge... Omaha and Pacific have already been done by MoH. Fair play if CoD can improve on MoH, but to be honest, it goes to show how limited it is. Boooorrrriiing.

Found the scans, and IMO it does not look all that impressive graphics wise, but hell, they are in the early stages, so I assume stuff will be tweaked. And knowing the COD series, it will be one hell of a SP experience to, so I am not worried of the final result, and I will buy it for sure, same goes to brother in arms that will be hitting shelves soon

I don't know, I think it looked great. Sure, the lighting wasn't over the top or anything which is exactly how it should be. Lighting and models looked top notch in my opinion.

Well, I'm certain their not all concept art images, and if you've read the article it certainly doesn't state anywhere that they are. Besides, I've never seen pixelated concept art before.

I've read the article and I agree, it doesnt say that but just look at the movement of the soldiers, look at the faces, the poses of the body ..it suggests that it was painted ...we need more artist types seeing it ..where's the Dark Elf?

I see what you mean though, that large picture with the group of German soldiers in Africa does look really nice, in the way they're all posed, but I think it's in-game as you can see it's a little pixelated by the sandbags. Maybe it's in-game, but not actually taken while playing? A set up screenshot?

That's why I asked, I thought you were talking about ones on another link someone posted. I did think these looked a little too realistic; lets hope the graphics will be similar.

I dont know ..but that pic on the last page with the soldier looking over his shoulder ...oh how I wish games were that realistic looking

CoD might be amazing if it wasn't just you versus a million German soldiers... still, it looks like there might be hope for CoD 2 after reading the preview. At least the enemy splits into effective fire and suppress groups now, and your comrades aren't just meatshields.

WE not only need a canadia team (as cpt said) we also need a finnish army, that tried to fight off the russians early on in the war.. with snow gear on and skiis omg that would be awesome!!!!!

Nonsense - could easily take out all of World War 2 all on my own. And I should know; I've done it before in MoH and CoD.
