It looks interesting. The water is amazing, but like 99% of mmos its still looks like its a hack&slash grind and thats not fun.

They need to make a Deus Ex RPG that would be my completion.

Catacombs (DOAC) looks good and all of those new Unreal MMOs don't look too shabby.

MMOs aren't about looks, they're about gameplay. And AoC is rock solid.

? an expansion for dark age of camelot? that game uses an engine thats now 6 years old ..and there's one Unreal MMO in the near future (maybe late 2007) and that's more like Guild wars in that it's all instances ..not the same thing

I just checked out some more MMOs and yeah, I guess AOC is the better looking one. Trailer still looked awful, but the screens look GREAT. All the models in the trailer looked like they had solid skin tones with zero shading. DOAC has had one or two updates to the graphics engine and it doesn't look too shabby. City of Heroes/Villains looks good too, but the styles are much different.

That looks nothing like the trailer.

mind you it's not the best as IGN filmed someone playing rather than a direct feed of the video ...I think it looks awesome ..the forest looks so much more alive than in the dx9 version ..and the lighting is just awesome

evga has the cheapest around and it's lifetime guarentee even if you overclock it/replace the fan ..I'm waiting till closer to release ..prices will be down and we'll have more options (including ati's r60)

no it'll be released as a dx9 game with a dx10 patch to follow ..but you dont have to install the dx10 patch if your card isnt capable ...at this point in time making a dx10 only game is suicide

Umm... Dark Age of Camelot's graphics are not six years old. There was a graphical overhaul after about three years or so. So I guess you could call it three years old. Still great graphics for an mmo, certainly better than wow's.

I thought they updated the graphics twice? Once for Shrouded Isles and another for Catacombs.

Regardless of the graphics, I don't think you can top DAoC's PvP. I started playing shortly before the first expansion (Shrouded Isles) came out, and I'm still a subscriber and play at least an hour a day.

I havent played it ..however it's been compared to DAoC by some of the community members who are either current orformer subscribers ...the pvp is what's drawing in a lot of people ...I'm more attracted by the lisence as I've been a fan of Robert e howard's Conan since I was 10 or 11
