China fires Death Rays at America!

any source?
Well, Chinese leaders have over and over in the past decades stated that they aim to 'reclaim traditional Chinese territories', that int heir opinion is practically all of south-east Asia xD

who said that US is a Eastern Nation? I mean to say how the Cpstern say that China have some goals towards USA they are just accessing their products.

Stern, do your wife and kids suffer from your chronic case of "hateamericitus"?

We got aids.

Dude where have you been!?

If the satellites are over china airspace, its fine for china to interfere with their viewing capabilities. As long as they don't destroy them. Cause that there would be an aggressive act, since the satellite is in orbit it's going to pass over a large swath of earth's land mass daily(or is it several times daily with the speed of the satellites?)

OK should I expect China to invade Eastern Europe with massive overlord tanks:p .

so... if the airspace above a country is that country's territory... and so is the upper atmosphere... Just how far into the known universe does this 'spacespace' cone of possession extend for each country? did the initial invaders of each country know that they were in fact conquering a possibly infinite distance of space packed with galaxies as well as the soil they were standing on (as well as the tapering cone of rock, iron and magma to the exact centre of the earth, of course.)? and were they also aware that as the earth rotates they would have the space of another country above them (which by all rights should count as an act of spying)? Would that give them the right to use comets and meteors as weapons of mass extinction when they happen to fly into their spacespace? or even planets? and when they do, could they also be viewed as a hostile act from another country's spacespace?

Ah, the sweet paranoia

Hmm... you made very little sense. Well, you made sense, but it was very silly.

So is throwing rocks at each other for a piece of dirt.

Judgeing on the title I thought this was a numbers thread.

Hwhy you guys think so bad of China? Actually, China is neither an aggressive nor a belligerent nation. China is a wondrous place. People are kind and polite here. The rural scenic spots are the most beauteous upon the world. The national type of delicacies are the best in the world, even better than those in France and India. Also, there are a lot of unique, fascinating festivals activities in my country, like lighting firecrackers on New Year Days, shooting off fireworks on Christmas Eve, and shooting Laser into the sky on both weekdays' and weekends' night and day.

hupphh! China have some goals also, how do u come to knoW?

ummm simple logic? it would be suicide to invade any western nation ...that pretty much goes for any western country ..besides the US owes china a shedload of money (no make that a boatload ..the QE2 of boats ..plus a submarine, a schooner and a half dozen row boat)

Oooook....

A) Who's watching America? EVERYONE. Iraq and Iran MIGHT be watched more closely, but not by much I'd bet. The US is the hot topic in the world at large.

I didnt mean literally watching ..I meant who's keeping them in check

and the US is the hot topic because of this ..cha!

B)Is it a surprise that the US has spy satellites? Thats been public knowledge since the technology existed. And remember that these satellites orbit the ENTIRE PLANET. So in any given day they could be over China and any other country on the planet, it doesn't mean we're spying on them.

yes you're spying on them; they're not taking out commercial satalites

Sources told the military affairs publication Defense News that there had been a fierce internal battle within Washington over whether to make the attacks public. In the end, the Pentagon's annual assessment of the growing Chinese military build-up barely mentioned the threat.

"After a contentious debate, the White House directed the Pentagon to limit its concern to one line," Defense News said.

The document said that China could blind American satellites with a ground-based laser firing a beam of light to prevent spy photography as they pass over China.

According to senior American officials: "China not only has the capability, but has exercised it." American satellites like the giant Keyhole craft have come under attack "several times" in recent years.

but as someone pointed out china is most certainly spying on the US ...not that this thread has anything remotely to do with justifying either country ..if I wanted a serious discussion I would have put this thread in the politics section

If they were ever gonna take over tah world, theyll do it politically

Well one thing people don't like about China... are the human rights in the country.

China IS NOT BAD!!! Damn you post fast... They are well. thinking iit is the best for their country and well, mabye to them it is... to them... to other breeds and species it aint...

You are of a lot of human rights if you have money, or if you have a USA visa.

I didn't quite understand what you meant there.

Did you mean to say that you have alot of human rights in China if you have alot of money, or a USA visa... and if you have neither, you have very few human rights?

When you are rich, you have more rights.. Are you from the US?

When you are rich, you have more rights.. Are you from the US?

Yes... I am from the united states.

Wealth should not guarantee human rights.

The poor should have as many rights as the rich.

Now you want it to but you say its bad...

Do you wanna be the poor guy or the rich one?

Does it work that way in the US?

Not 100% of the time, but hey, the poor are getting free handouts from the taxpayer so they don't have much to moan about. And we all have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, regardless of the amount of money a person has.

? china excutes prisoners 10 x as much as the nearest rival ..many without due process, their prison system is one of the worst in the world and government has kept a sizeable chunk their population in object poverty for decades

so yes you're right the biggest threat china poses is on it's own population

How old are you?

And what do you mean by WORSE? as in they spoil the prisoners? THat would be considered worst as they do not punish those prisoners! A good prison is a place of Pain and punishment and also redemption.

ps i have no idea whta redemption means... it sounds like erm Another Chance

In human rights, there is no comparison between USA and China. Chinese Government sucks. She is laggin behind... like a few hundreds years.

I feel happy with the depopulation system.

And what do you mean by WORSE?

the opposite of best?

as in they spoil the prisoners?

ya I'm sure it's the carlton ritz ..actually it probably makes guantanamo bay look like the carlton ritz

THat would be considered worst as they do not punish those prisoners!

yes I'm sure chinese prison systems fails to punish prisoners ...despite executing on average 15,000 prisoners a year

A good prison is a place of Pain and punishment and also redemption.

obviously you have a different POV when it comes to human rights ..but torture is a violation of human rights

ps i have no idea whta redemption means... it sounds like erm Another Chance

you wrote the word
