as for the motherboard I also want to keep that relativly cheap..maybe 50-70 dollars...i dont care if its refurbished i jsut need a new one so i can oc my cpu right now...here is what im thinkin...

as for the heatsink i will be thinking of getting one of these...

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-103-142&depa=0

does this all sound good?...again im not looking to spend too much money. Another thing is do the motherboards come with instructions? I have never really assembled a complete system ebfore but i have a good idea...and ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated, such as ideas and different product suggestions ect....thank you very much

Edit: instead of getting the refurbished motherboard i could get something cheap like this http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-157-034&depa=0

what do you guys think

im lookin for a new chair for my office :p any ideas

btw those are kool

haha
The title totally threw me. Thinking you were asking good tech gifts to give yet it's about stuff for you. :)

Looks good except I would not really recommend that Heatsink/fan. It weighs heavily on looks and noise rather than performance. ;)
41dBA (Noise) and 22 CFM (Airflow)

Personally I would check out something along the lines of this and this. 30dBA (Noise) and 48 CFM (Airflow) with a great heatsink.
or this. Don't forget the thermal.

That other ASROCK board does not have a good chipset. You want to stick with the Intel chipsets.

ha thanks asus, but umm are there any heatsinks off of newegg you can sugest? since ill be getting it off there, and how is that refurbished asus motherboard? if thats not cutting it ill just get a cheap retail one off of new egg....oh and yea i will be picking up some arctic silver 5 i forgot to inculde that :)

Newegg has a few good Thermalright heatsinks although they are > $40. As for the fan, panaflo is one of the best fans but just check the CFM and dBA ratings listed for the fan or heatsink/fan combos.

Want a good christmas gift ideas?
Buy a nice computer, send it to me. Best gift for yourself or any family member. Just buy one and send it to me and your family will be overjoyed!

That first one looks exactly like my Volcano 12.

What I can say is if you go with that first one, take off the fan guard.
Be careful mounting it onto your motherboard to, had a hell of a time not killing mine
