Hitlers great power was his speaking ability. He almost put a spell over the masses when he would speak. Watch a video of him giving a speech if you ever get the chance.

I pretty much know more about WW1 than WW2.Originally posted by DarkelP
I loved doing WW2 in history, it was an excellent subject, and i learnt alot about the nazi party and hitler, which was based on facts and not opinions

WW2 was the last interesting war for me...wars now adays are too full of technology and 'freidndly fire' to be interesting.
WW2 was one of the last battles to have face to face fighting...now adays wars are fought by firing missiles from a silo 24000 miles away from the battle...
Yea but times change.I for one like war, because it is what destroy's nations and what builds them.If it wasn't for war America would have never been formed. If it wasn't for war Iraq would still have Saddam.Originally posted by DarkelP

I think I remeber a quote about that from Einstein.Crap I can't remember it.Originally posted by Bass
Yup. In WW3 should it ever occur, there will be no infantry, no battles, just the push of a button and the destruction of the world. Sad really

I have yet to read mein kampf...sounds like an interesting read.
Its funny with the whole nazi bad, allied good thing....if the nazis won, it would be nazi good, allies bad...i know it would really be one or the other, but not many people go 'just becuase the nazi's lost doesnt mean there evil'
This is the best discussion I've ever had about hitler and the nazi party...usually ends up with 'the nazi's were evil people, they deserve to burn in hell' kind of thing, which leaves no opening for a civil and logical discussion.

People confuse evilness with stupidity, the nazi's were stupid, hitler was "evil"
though it doesnt mean they should just be able to get away with what they did the slightest bit
