How do you know that? What if the Gonarch produce special headcrabs that grow up to be a Gonarch. I don't think every headcrab would grow up to be one. The headcrabs to me seem like the worker ants of an ant mound and the Gonarch is like the queen.

But the Gonarch produces those tiny headcrabs doesn't he, so maybe they grow to be normal headcrabs which in turn grow up to be gonarchs or something
