Crysis Dx10 video

Haha actually 2000kr is what I've saved so far too. My mom won't lend me a cent this summer, but hopefully I'll get some web related jobs and get money the same way I got it when I wanted a $400 mp3 player with $150 ear phones :)

I'm not so up-to-date when it's about current hardware anymore, will DX10 card's require any other specific hardware or is it
just Vista that's required?

EDIT: Ohh and I just read some stuff about the new Nvidia G80 graphics card which should be released 30th May and I really hope it will, that way it'll have time enought to get affordable by the time Crysis and other next-gen games are released :D

Exactly, the G80 series is what I've been looking for too..
And internet related jobs are nice, you know the dude who owns Hamsterpaj? He's like a millionaire, owns his own company, and he's 16 bloody years old!

I found most of this stuff over at the incrysis site, so thanks to those guys!. Someone must have access to some of cryteks reference images, maybe? or they just spent ages looking for something similar.

Hey is that reference material from pictures of NK, cause I that looks like a tropical Paradise, while I always though Nk was pretty dammed cold.

Well, technically the island isn't a part of MAINLAND NK but rather an island a way bit off Korea itself.

Anyway, here's a quote about NKs geography off Wikipedia.

"The local climate is relatively temperate, with precipitation heavier in summer during a short rainy season called jangma, and winters that can be bitterly cold on occasion. North Korea's capital and largest city is P'yŏngyang; other major cities include Kaesŏng in the south, Sinŭiju in the northwest, Wŏnsan and Hamhŭng in the east and Ch'ŏngjin in the northeast."

After further reading on Crysis, it seems I was very right, it takes place on the Spratly Islands, located in the South China Sea.

As you can see, they're closer to Brunei than North Korea.:)
It's also a heavily disputed island group and is thus a great backdrop for the games story..
I even remember someone stating that China also investigates the crash, I'm not sure if that's alongside North Korea or independently, but I so hope alongside so I can blow up some Chinese too!

But the island is modelled after Kauai, right? Those shots of the Na Pali Coast are indisputable....
 
Before reading what clarky003 wrote I thought that they were comparing DX9 with DX9 on those pictures and the pictures to the left were DX10, unfortunantly they were references :(

Damn :(, many videos have been posted/linked...but there are no HiRes-Videos of ingame jungle-combat scenes. Does anybody know where you can get those kind of crysis-videos - perhaps gamespot/ign-subscribers?
 
I wish there were something like the HL2 Bink videos but even the HD quality videos on IGN and Gamespot lack of that quality :/

No high quality yet im a ign subscriber and theres nothin.
 
Actually it's good there is'nt, the more we know the less excited we'll be upon the release. It's atleast 6months until then so I hope Crytek decides to show as little as possible but still feed us with some new information atleast :)=

You are right, I don´t want to see more spoilers - actually we saw a very big spoiler: That boss fight with the strider like thing on the aircraft harrier. I am pretty sure they showed use this battle to get rid of their jungle engine image.

To show us ONE good video of jungle combat wouldn´t spoil us so much more. We saw the things in the low quality videos. BTW: IMO the tomshardware video is still the best quality video of jungle footage...if you know a better one, please state your opinion here.

EDIT: Yeehaa. I am getting a 405MB big ingame crysis-video (1280x720px) of a friend of mine - I am still not sure if it contains jungle footage, but I am pretty sure. :) I´ll post the link...soon.

Mmh, the video is filmed so don´t be disappointed when the quality of the video is not so good. Nonetheless it´still the best jungle footage...

There are links for 3 big HiRes Videos - the second one contains the jungle footage and is the same video like the one of the dead link - I recommend you to load this one first. The other 2 videos show the boss fight on the aircraft harrier that we all saw in the official e3 crysis video.
