dam I am starting to hate Halo

is just that every multi-games forum I come there are this halo worshiping and halo fanboys that alllways say coments like "how that idiots think that <abreviated FPS game name here> can be compared to halo?????" and they mentions halo as a god gift and stuff and the other as a tragedy when sure they just looked screenshots

sure that are people that hav played halo only

cuz seriously I dont find halo that great,I consider it a very cool game but no so great as this one are saying

is soo anoyining

I wish this could end
 
It's only on certain forums - you'll find the same thing for Counter Strike, and many other games.

If they're happy with their game then let them get on with it :) It's not worth getting annoyed about.

(Halo is very good fun in multiplayer btw - certainly one of the better shooters around at the moment)

yeah halo should be called the counter strike of consoles

both get boring fast and people still play then a lot whiout experiment another games

fro example in the cybercafes here everybody play CS all the time,or GTA VC,and when I play something like UT2004 they stay looking like saying "oh whats that?" but never look for the game,just CS all the time,and now postal is becoming the fashion and all they do is kill people,they even scream at the monitor die bitch lol
 
I hate Halo too, RJMC. Let's be friends.

Everyone here has to accept the fact that Starcraft is, was, and always will be the best game ever.

I hate it because it's boring, repetetive, mediocre, and has a rabid fanbase of preteens who screech at you if you don't like it or dare to suggest something is superior to it in any way shape or form.

also it's way overrated.
 
You gotta admit that the guys at Bungie are pretty sly though. They're charging $20 for 9 maps that are mostly remakes in Halo 2. Brilliant!
 
I like Halo 1's MP. SP is only good for Co-op. Halo 2 is worse in every way and I hate it...

I'm pretty sure only 1 or 2 of those are remakes...but yeah, $20 is ridiculous.

lol 20$ for 9 maps....look at epic and UT2004/Unreal2
they release maps all the time.
 
Arg! Halo fanboys make me sick. Halo 2 is a pretty good game, but Halo fanboys need to stop being so close-minded.

I showed him 'still seeing breen' yesterday - i personally think that should be Valve's personal demo video - and he saw the G-man and immediantly started sand-blasting HL2's storyline for making the G-man ambigeous. I mean, jeeebus....

(although i think this might show more about his close-mindedness than Halo... meh.

If this is really such an annoyance to you, and you really can't stand it, then commit suicide. You can't change other peoples oppinions, nog can you change all the threads about halo to reflect your oppinion. LIVE WITH IT DUDE!!!

Your not the only one, great storyline, but crap interiors (repetetive almost) and I don't like the vehicular combat (If it was more like UT2004, keyboard moves/mouse look)

I didn't mind Halo, but Halo 2.....rather stupid...
Anyway I was never really into the whole halo thing,
Viva la Starcraft!
 
FarCry's the best SP FPS out there, HL2 is ok, Doom3 is ok and the rest just suck pretty much. All FPS MP is crap and boring and no different to what it was 5 years ago except with better graphics.

I always thought there were more Halo haters than Halo fanboys. I also thought that people who hate Halo are the ones who get pissed off at the fact that the people who bullied them in high school are now kicking their ass in online Halo games.

duh, of course. All games communities mainly consist of teenagers - there will always be a lack of maturity ;) That doesn't make any of the games any worse though.

I think Halo is one of the best single player fps ever made - and better than anything that's come out on the pc since the original HL. Aren't opinions great :)

I can't change people's mind sure but I'm sure with a bit of effort I can make them notice the game is for girls and the guns are pink
 
I'll be honest, I quite the liked the first one. Multiplayer was pretty damn fun. The second one though, after reading reviews saying how good it was, I was really disappointed.

I honestly don't see whats so special about halo really. C-s is just amazing though...
 
The multiplayer is damn fun with about 8-10 close friends. Yeah, single player is nothing special but multiplayer is very solid and entertaining.
 
I can't stand Halo. The singleplayer was fun cooperatively, but the multiplayer lacks so much its not even funny.

counter strike source is good for mainly annoying people over voice comm but that is all
 
After the latest patch, the multiplayer has gotten a LOT better, it's way more balanced, the weapons for the most part now feel unique (although the plasma "freezing" effect is still gone :(), and it's just overall a much smoother and fun experience.

CS is good, but how long has it remained basically unchanged? A very, very long time. Hasn't changed a great deal since 1.0.

Halo multiplayer has remained basically unchanged since about a month ago :p
