Dead Space is looking well....pretty damn sweet

Awesome game. Just finished. Took me about 10hours on easy. Damn I wish I had of bumped up the difficulty up a bit. I also like the fact that they add more stuff if you want to play through the game again.

Please stop talking about how awesome this game is. I so badly want to play it, but since i'm a little cry-baby because I can't rebind the controls, I am unable to play. The icon is just sitting there on my desktop, taunting me...

The interface is not that complicated. Suck it up and play, bitch.

The game is really, really good, and has that creepy flavour... but is definitely not scary, especially when you upgrade your stasis and are a pro with the industrial saw.

The story seems decent too.

Just finished it too. I gotta say the last boss was incredibly simple to beat , although it did have good design imo. When i first saw that bitch i said "woah..." out loud. If you have not fought it yet you will know what i mean when you do .

So any of you guys enlightened yourself by reading the comics(reading the actual comics, they have a lot more than the comic 'videos' that are shortened heavily), the movie, and playing through NoKnownSurvivors?

It adds a shitload to the backstory.

I loved the comics. They took a little while to really 'get' anywhere, but it was a good read. I've got all six waiting to be ordered but for the most part it's because I love Ben Templesmith and his style.

Gonna watch the movie soon, but I still haven't finished Dead Space as I've been up to my ears in Far Cry and Fallout. I think I prefer Dead Space to the two, but I've been wanting to just get these two over with so eh. As far as I remember, I'm still fighting the Regenerating Necromorph inside of a large room with about a hundred of the little bastard fetus demons.

unfortunately, when you try to play again on "impossible" you don't receive the 50k credits or 10 nodes awarded at the end of the game

No, this was criticized in many professional reviews, you can not change difficulty and still enjoy the benefits of game-completion.
