I definitely liked the comic strip. And, realistically, OvA's claim of it being a "joke" IS more than a bit suspect- even though pretty much everything that comes out of his mouth is a sick joke, that post wasn't really his "style", and he told us it was a joke waaay too late. But then... meh, I dunno.

he won't be unbanned unless we know for a fact it was a joke
that means that valve (who was supplied with his information) would have to get a negative match when they run his ip's against the steam DB

stealing steam accounts is no way to contribute to the community because that kind of behavior damages it

it's different because it's valve/steam/hl2 related.

Yeah pretty much most of the forum feels OvA's ban was pretty dumb. He says funny shit and brings entertainment. Entertainment = come back to hl2.net = actually contributing to the community.

A forum full of "Hah, this is quite humerous, I agree!" Or "Yes, I agree as did the previous 5 pages in this thread, the verdict in that rape trial is appalling!" is not somewhere I want to come back to day after day.

I dunno considering everyone was freely admitting in the thread to various FELONIES that have gone unpunished and can land hard prison time if caught I think he figured it didn't matter if he made something up. It was kind of funny too, in the same way that description from the eye thread is about the sunglasses flying off. Either way just lame.
