Driving, Whee!

Lock doors? Must be due to the mass suicides lately involving people diving out their driving seats while doing 90mph on a dual carriageway.

J/k.

But why lock doors? lol

So psychotic killers roaming the streets don't open your door while you're stopped at a light, pull you out, and steal your car. Like I said, it's a dangerous world out there.

But that really is the reason... it's not there to keep you in, but to keep other people out, according to my parents at least.

[edit] MSM doesn't mean anything whereas SMOG... now SMOG reminds you of all the pollution you're spewing out while you drive. It brainwashes children into the ways of responsible driving. Every time you change lanes, you'll realize your contribution to the declining quality of our air.

Cant sleep... cars will eat me...

Also here its cba not abc..

Thought that was the reason for keeping a hammer or other heavy tool in the car next to ya lol

That's a big NO-NO!

Because the other guy always has a gun. Remember, he's a Psychotic Killer.

So what is a locked door gonna do if he has a gun? Do you have bulletproof glass?

How come you didn't move then?? Im moving out there myself in prolly about 2/3 months. I can go anytime I want really, just not in a big rush at the mo.
I did, lived out there in total i think going on for four years, in between coming back to the UK briefly every so often. Came back in the end for good.. well for good being I didn't know when I'd go back.

Whereabouts out there was you? I take it you prefer it back home in the UK than the states. Im really only moving for the experience, if I dislike it i'll move back home. Good ol dual nationality.

Why go back to the UK then? lol Arizona for some strange reason I really wanna visit, even though there isn't really anything there.
Im moving to Ohio so im not particularly excited about that.

But then again Im only really using that as a point of entry, i'll shift off somewhere else before long.

Back from the lesson. Did very well, only things I messed up on where steering over-hand alot of the time (although I never hit a corner) and overreving the car when pulling out. Apart from it no real big mess ups, and it was fun.

Nice one. :)

I've hit a corner once.... but it was my first lesson at night... and only the second time i had ever been on a rounderbout.... Plus I was tired....

Ok ok!!! I just skrewed up :p

It is fun though isnt it. :)

My next lesson is at night, hopefully it wont be too bad, the place where im driving has alot of street lights.

Heh, every post I make it makes it all seem so bad! lol

Neway, I wouldnt worry about driving at night. I actually found it easier in general. Its alot less stressfull somehow.

Possibly because I can ignor the problems easier since I can't see em!!! :p

And yeah.... mostly because there are so few other drivers in the dark. :)

night driving can be stressful, be sure to loosen up with a few martinis before you go.

Lil Timmy, you want me to die dont you? Is that is? All cus i wanna throw nails and fire at your children? :O

Night driving isn't so bad....the worst is when there's lots of traffic and the dreaded roundabouts :)

Driving isn't that bad. The most difficult thing about driving is building confidence and overcoming your fears. Once you do that and keep driving more often, it'll become a second nature.

Night driving is like a minor or chapter game boss: killable, just has different tricks and weaknesses. All you have to do it adjust your eyes to bright lights, stay in your lane and check your blind spots. I'm sure you've already been schooled about your blind spots. They don't seem like they're a big issue during the day, but those blind spots will come screaming at you like a houndeye during the night. Learn the proportions of your vehicle. I don't know about your vehicle, but when I'm driving on the freeway or any highway, the lane lines will sort of 'meet' my headlights... Like they go into them. It's hard to explain. Helps to keep me in my lane when I'm slackin'. I drive a truck though, so you may not get that luxury. It's actually better for newbie drivers to use bigger vehicles. They'll adapt themselves to the larger chassis which will make driving smaller cars a piece of pie on cake.

I love night driving, its fun, cause then you get to go to the curvy roads and take your car to the limits because not as many cars on the road...

Yeah and the blur of street lights looks really cool when you take your speed to the maximum...

...and if you hit anyone, its ok because they won't see you coming and most importanly, they won't see you leaving :D
