Forced me to use the USP and I loves it.
 
The game, or the servers anyway, have quite severe lag problems. End-round second-long freezes? And hit detection is absoloutly dire (Barely managed a 30-4 k/d ratio). Other than that, and the annoying 6 for equipment menu (point of changing it from 8?) it's rather good.

So the prices updated today, now Valve is pushing the goggles on us, as if anyone is going to buy them. :LOL:
 
the goggles are useless, unless they make a nighttime map or something (if there are some, then point them out plz)
 
yeah that's what I was thinking, there's definately custom night maps but for the majority of CS players...they're useless. Wait, is Havana nighttime?

maybe they're fixing the scaling...or making min/max prices?

or maybe they're just fixing bugs that might have skewed the whole thing...and then resetting to give more accurate prices....I like how the Deagle is already projected to be in the thousands:LOL:
 
lol ok lets just assume tht the site has bugged out...right now projected and current prices are the same so:

I think they changed from looking at how much money is spent on an item, to looking at how many times an item has been bought.

Then 2 days later they'll learn they can disable it with a cvar...But it'll take them 2 whole days to figure it out.... :|
 
I'd hate it if all the servers had it turned off...
 
I hope valve introduce a new filter option for it aswell...I want to be able to find the ones that DO run DWP.
 
but the game wasn't perfectly fine... a bunch of weapons never saw any serious play because their price was too high compared to the popular weapons.

or rather getting money for the popular weapons was way too easy and you could simply do one save round and then be able to get them.
 
Yeah but when the mac10 for instance becomes dirt cheap, more and more people will start to buy it before the enemy can get a good rifle. And 3 guys with a mac10 will pwn one guy with an m4. Every weapon will have a valid strategy for the price you pay for it.
 
well from what ive seen on the beta the ts have been getting absolutely destroyed, it seemed to be "mac 10s vs various assault rifles" which was pretty funny, but i think it was just the server i was in. mac 10 in pistol round was classic as well :D

[edit] yea of course 3 on 1, but not if there were 3 or even 2 m4s
 
no, because the cts were absolutely owning the ts, who couldnt afford shit, while the cts were getting easily enough money to pay the extra and get m4s. again, it was probably just that server. the price doesnt matter that much if all you have to do is get a decent gun once and then its easy to get kills against some weaks smgs, which in turn gives you enough money to buy another gun every so often.
 
Anyone noticed that de_dust is more balanced now?

It was always the CT's that came on top unless the CTs where absolutely shite compared to T's.
 
You really can't say it is or isn't fine, it's a matter of opinion.

However the fact that there was absolute uproar among a large amount of CS:S players when this was announced shows that a lot of people are of much the same opinion...
