EBgames.com now has updated HL2:SE box art and info...

I could easily see that being fabricated, just to attract sales, but that's the view of an extreme pessimist..

most of them ive seen but just one or two of them im not sure, could be real old and have just forgotten about them.
 
They actually list the contents there. :p
Also "if actual price lower then release price, you will be charged lower price".
 
Man...there better be something good in there for $80. That's a lot of money for a computer game and something cheesy.

Although that new artwork does look cool (although doubt it's from whatever the CE actually looks like since I would assume everyone would have that pic by now).

Doubt it. Gamestop put the same image up late last night, or earlier today (thursday).

I reported that in another thread, but only a few people noticed :).
 
So is the 'M' rating final now? It seems to be cropping up on all the recent box art.
 
tomorrow is friday, I wonder if they will announce it gold then
 
Is that what you would recommend? I've pre-orderd games before, but not over 54 dollars. If they drop the price will ebay reimburse me?

Umm. I didnt make it up. The only thing Gabe and Eric won't tell me are release dates, prices, and bugs they've squashed.

eb isonly gonna change there release date when the game goes gold , and i have a fealing it will go gold today , maybe in half an hour
 
So is that Prima book that one Raising the Bar one that amazon is selling for 30$ ? Cause if so I'm just going to cancel my preorder and get the CE instead. Oh and one more q? while im here, anyone know if the standard (non-CE) package of HL2 will come as dvd too?

That's too much for a game, HL2 or not. I don't need no stinkin' strategy guide and I got plenty of shirts. I think Madeline(?) would agree.
 
they forgot to include that the shirt are all worn personally by Gabe himself (and hence the one size) and include sweat stains.

makes it sound much more like the Behind-the-Scenes guide, than the strategy guide. Doesn't even mention "tips", "secrets", or "strategies".
 
I think I'll get the normal version since I get a free T-shirt with that anyway
 
cant find anywhere in the UK thats selling the CE :(

currently have the game preordered on amazon, if/when the CE becomes available i might order it. i hope it does :S
