Right, why would all the retailers suddenly update their sites with the same info? I think Vivendi have told them what's in the Collector's Edition. This is what publishers do. The retailers won't hang around on a fansite waiting for Valve to send someone details of the collector's edition.

What is that even meant to mean?

Valve don't need to bless everything because publishers like Vivendi are likely to know information relating to a Collector's Edition because they make the damn thing. And retailers get their information from publishers
