I've met Angry Lawyer in real life so that makes me quarter Polish.

So essentially Angry Lawyer left his, uh, mark on you?

Mikael, I want to know. Why the hell is there a Polish film festavil in Dublin? Are there really that many Polish people gone to Ireland?

Apparently yes, the situation in our country in regards to income and life quality is completely banged up by irresponsible governmental decisions and lack of reformation. Slovakia, which was lagging behind us a few years ago, is actually getting slowly AHEAD of us, especially when it comes down to medical care.

So, Polaks are emigrating/going west to seek work and cash, and you Brits/Irish/Scotsmen are really hospitable and nice to us (ever since beginning of the Second World War, except for the betrayal of Poland by the British government).

Why yes, we, Poles, are a world-known pirate country! Blackbeard? We ate such for breakfast! YARR! We pillage an' plunder!

Every time I see your name, I think of the movie "Grizzly Man" and how I nearly died from laughter at it.

I prefer cougars to bears. Besides, a human tastes bland, unless with ketchup.

...

Andrev, pass me some grandma and the garlic sauce, will ya?

Are those... COPIED human remains, Mr. Lawyer?

*bzzzzzzzt*

Tazer check complete. Containment-Arrest protocols initiated.

* Takes ketchup and sits with Angry Lawyer to have some too

I didn't answer it PRECISELY because it's obvious.

And "la la land"? You've obviously haven't been to Poland.

For someone who claims to have a superior grasp of the English language to a native speaker who is qualified to teach it, you're missing some very basic fundamentals.
"La la land" is a comment on your state of mind, not your physical location.

Speaking of which, a quote I heard the other day from some famous guy. "Idealism precedes experience; cynicism follows it."
You demonstrate your lack of experience with every post you make. By all means, have an opinion, but cut your insufferable arrogance the **** out. I couldn't care less what you think of piracy, it's your clueless teenager who knows it all attitude that's the problem with you.

For someone being a native speaker of English, your failure to grasp advanced constructs in this language is laughable.

And that quote means nothing.

"Do not worry if you have built your castles in the air. They are where they should be. Now put the foundations under them." - Henry David Thoreau

At least I can source my quotes.

Second, by Polish law I'm a fully-fledged adult. While you may dismiss my opinions with your *snips* that actually makes you more immature than me - I do not moan on and on about how "yxpyrienzed" and "eyedult" I am.

Such as? Or are you just inventing shit?

It means nothing to you. That doesn't mean it means nothing.

At least I can source my quotes.

So could I, if I cared. Five seconds with google. It's not important - what's your point?

Neither do I. I just point out how naive you are.

No your stupid
No YOU are Stupid
NO You are stupid
nu-uh
uh-huh

Short reply, 'cause I'm playing Renegade simultaneously.

You referred to my state of mind, as you perceive it. I replied by saying that living in Poland is enough of an experience NOT to have that mindset.

That quote still means nothing. It's generic and out of context.

Oh, and naivete is a very subjective word. For you it means anyone who doesn't have the same approach to the world as you and (*gasp*) dares to fight for his views. For me it's a person that can't exist in modern society without getting used.

For your information, it's me who uses people, not the other way round.

Head in the clouds - that's you alright.

It doesn't need a context. It holds true in all areas of life. Idealism is the rose-tinted view of the world that inexperienced people have. If you had a clue, you would not be implying that "we all change the world, one step at a time until one day we have a utopia..."

Oh, and naivete is a very subjective word. For you it means anyone who doesn't have the same approach to the world as you and (*gasp*) dares to fight for his views. For me it's a person that can't exist in modern society without getting used.

No it isn't. It has a fairly precise definition. This would be the relevant definition: having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information; credulous: She's so naive she believes everything she reads. He has a very naive attitude toward politics.

Most people don't have the same approach to the world as me, it doesn't make them naive. Guess you haven't figured out why I haven't insulted Mecha yet, huh? Hint: it's because he isn't naive, insufferably arrogant and clueless, whereas you are.

For your information, it's me who uses people, not the other way round.

Isn't that rather hypocritical of you? You spent this whole thread on some moral crusade about how it's immoral to use companies to the same extent that buying a second hand game off eBay is using them.
Now you're playing the ruthless tough guy that steps on everyone to get where he wants.
So not only are you clueless and arrogant, you're an absolute hypocrite. Nice job.

I like how you've managed to turn the whole thing into ad hominem and straw-man arguments, Repiv.

-Angry Lawyer

Yeah, Mickey isn't great at argumenting, but he's running circles around Rapey's shit-schtick.

Well, you guys are right. It's no use arguing with an idiot, because first you drag yourself down to his level, then he beats you with his broader experience at idiocy.

Actually, Mikael started with the personal attacks. I didn't "turn the whole thing" into anything. I stated my views, Mikael acted like a spoilt little shit with a serious attitude problem. He brought it on all by his little self.

Good excuse not to answer to your glaring hypocrisy.

Well, disagreeing an opinion on the basis of you believing its holder is naieve is definately ad hominem.

Maybe you should re-read the thread. According to this guy, I can't read properly, I don't understand my own language, I have no brain, I'm a communist (that's a good one), and so on, and so forth.
I don't care about his opinion on the subject. He's perfectly entitled to it. It's his attitude (and his utter moral hypocrisy) that really bugs me.
Only replying in kind.

INTERNET.

SERIOUS BUSINESS.

(at least for Repiv)

For someone who supposedly doesn't care, you show up to the forum disturbingly quickly whenever I post in this thread, and you also get riled up far too easily.

I'm off to play CoH.

We have the photos. And the video. Oh yes.

Well, I guess I'd be the odd one out if you didn't have the photos and videos.

*looks in pants*

No, it isn't mushroom shaped... HEY! INVASION OF PRIVACY!

If you're an internet pirate, I can practically guarantee that you have the theme song to at least one 80's television programme on there. It's unavoidable that you end up with bullshit that you would never actually pay for in grown-up world.

how did you know?
