I saw an episode of King of the Hill that had Peggy taking an IQ test online to join some type of "Intelligent" society thing. Turned out to be a scam, and the guy just wanted stupid (or gullible) people's money.

Looking at that site....I'm going to assume its much like that King of the Hill episode.

A lot of things for "smart people" are incredibly stupid. I remember aceing the math/pattern part of an IQ test in 6th grade (which had evidently never been done) and that supposedly was an IQ score of 140 (for that part).

There is no real way to have a true IQ test & people are smart in different ways. I say if you want to prove you’re smart, then do something amazing (and fun, and cool)!

P.S. The real IQ test is to see if you're dumb enough to pay for the Intelligence Profile or join their ridiculous society.

Random clicking scores a 100-110, I would say they just want your money.

And what good comes from knowing your own IQ anyway? If its high you get a ego boost you don't deserve because you didn't DO anything, and if its low its the same thing. If your IQ is 98 yet you know how to talk to people and buckle down and work you will beat out someone with a IQ of 120 who is lacking in those skills for any job. Your IQ doesn't mean shit, just do what you gotta do and you will go far.

I got 132 at 3am, but regardless....

Creativity is a huge part of intelligence in my opinion - at least productive intelligence. A scientist without creativity is no more useful than a computer. I believe the most capable smart people are those who combine intellect with creativity.

Agreed! How does knowledge ot the capital of Zimbabuae show my intelligence? I think I failed 80% of the general knowledge tests (multiple choice, 5 options)
