Do want....now dammit!

also i have the worst science skill, so i probably should just play for a few hrs then download this and play it on tuesday

Yeah, especially with the exposed hand with the PIP-Boy glove and all.

Zeta doesn't fit Fallout. Just look at the second screenshot:

See? Mass Effect 2.

robots were in Fallout 3 all ready, and the service droids look similar....but ok man

To be fair though, these are supposed to be alien. It seems reasonable that they look a little out of place.

To be fair, the only Fallout fans who might defend this DLC is Fallout 3 fanboys.

I love fallout 1 and 2, and still play them from time to time, but for **** sake, despite fallout 3s crappy story, bad character movment, and generic subways and "caves", it still pretty good. You can't compare it to Fallout 1 and 2 RPG. It's not. Not even trying to be. Not sure if it ever did. It's a Oblivion with guns. And that's pretty fun.

Or, have the pip boy on the outside? It's not glued on...

Completed it a few hours ago - It was pretty good. The idea of destroying the generators got very repetitive quickly - But for new items this pack was one of the best.

I'll give it a whirl. $800 pts is like $10 and thats not bad at all

Played the opening abduction and escape, not bad so far, I'm betting it'll get a bit more difficult for me later on seeing as how I've only just started a new game with this character. Never Mind, I'll do it eventually. :)

Who cares about the ****ing guns and items.

Does anything interesting actually happen in it or are you just running around shooting martians.

What I'm hearing is that it's a very linear corridor-shooting experience with some upgraded weapons.

Good to see Beth's working hard at the entire RPG aspect of this franchise.

1. The Pitt
2. Point Lookout
3. Broken Steel
4. Mothership Zeta
5. Operation: Anchorage

i didnt really expect zeta to be that good anyways.

How is The Pitt better than Point Lookout?

This. Point Lookout was far better with story, depth, exploration, and atmosphere. Pitt was good for moral decisions -- however, in my opinion it was bogged down by the fact that the seemingly morally correct decision you made ended up the opposite of what you intended:

Siding with the slaves ends up with a botched cure and the death of a baby, along with a devastated family. Siding with Ashur seemed evil because you were depriving the slaves of their cure, but the cure was being developed by a trained and experienced scientist rather than by impulsive and less intelligent slaves.

Then again, I suppose the purpose is to think outside of the box as to what the implications were for the exchange, but as for me I simply regarded it as another black-and-white moral decision in Fallout 3's world.

It's boring.

Christ, I've never been so bored in a game. You just walk around and shoot aliens. That's it. Of course there are a handful of humans you escape with, but their piss-poor AI and rather minor presence during the course of the add-on make them mere footnotes.

And it isn't Fallout at all.

Also Ashur's personal log implies he intends to share the cure with everyone once it's complete, he says as much later if you choose his side.

your bitching is tiresome.

I agree with Mikael and I really enjoyed Fallout 3.
This is easily the worst DLC yet, moreso than Anchorage.

The soilder you unfreeze, Elliot Tercorien, his name is a reference to Scrubs, it's Elliot Turc and Dorian combined.

I thought it made a nice change from the wasteland.

The name is Turk in the series, Christopher Turk.

Not Turc.

You have brought shame to your family!

Anyway, I am buying this DLC regardless because of my obsession with achievements, so I'll have all Fallout 3 DLCs.

the moral choice, easily the hardest in fallout. and i liked the grimy feel everything had. they're both pretty good, i guess its a preference thing.

I agree, ThePitt is by far the best. Interesting plot, good scenery, voiceovers appropriate (not really masterpieces, but quite solid) and it has that Fallout feel. It wouldn't feel out of place in the origina Fallout.

Should I actually buy the game one day, I have one question. Does Mothership Zeta come with music similar to the trailer? Because if it does then I'm sold.

Wearing that spacesuit and shooting ray-guns to that kind of score will make me happy.

Did you buy it just to complain about it or something?

Anyway, the best DLC for items in my opinion, and some interesting concepts such as the fist fight and the electro-pole things. But if I HAD to order them;

1. Broken Steel
2. Point Lookout
3. Mothership Zeta
4. The Pitt
5. Operation Anchorage

The Pitt and Anchorage were pretty awful in my opinion, for the most part. The new armour and weapons they contained were infinitely badass but the actual gameplay in them was not nearly as good as anything else. Zeta slowly became like this, but started out awesome. Could have gone with some more enemies besides alien, hard alien, and robot.

Point Lookout, well, I don't see why everyone loves it some much. It was horribly short (took me about 2 hours, Level 23 character) and there was hardly anything compelling about it. Still, compared to the rest, the atmosphere was AMAZING and that coupled with Desmond made it worth it.

Broken Steel is still the DLC to get, what with the whole massive amount of new stuff which fits near-seamlessly into the game. It would have been nicer if more people than the Brotherhood of Steel and Three Dog took notice of my action, and I'm still hearing people in Rivet City talking about how the Enclave has invaded Project Purity.

If I'm honest I can't imagine having to go back through Anchorage or Zeta, that would be a tedious and annoying task. I did like the callbacks to Anchorage in Zeta however.

Because DLCs are about new weapons, and armours, right? The Pitt and Point Lookout are still my favourite DLCs.
