The mouth movement was a little off, but it seemed pretty good. Not a game I'm particularily excited for, but I hope it doesn't flop. :p

Killer Croc looks awesome, though.

Quality stuff, but I feel I need to get my hands on a demo before I make my choice.

Looks like it'll be an interesting ride, atmospheric as hell too.

Looks like that Batman game for PS2 but with worse graphics.

What a shit ending to the video, i was expecting some Joker mastermind escape plan, but all he does is punch one security guard and runs off?

Yeah I do agree with that, little disappointed there.

What the hell else should he have done?

I think alot of us were expecting him to have some sort of masterplan-esque escape method (I was hoping it would be a bit like simon phoneix's escape in demolition man :) )

Have you guys been following this game at all? He's not even trying to escape.

Yeah, but a sucker punch and a run off? Come on, the guards should have seen that coming.

Have you watched the cartoon or read the comics?

Given the amount of times Joker has escaped Arkham, you'd figure they'd just seal him in a large adamantium cage.:p

Honestly, Joker has escaped Arkham more times than I've spanked hot girls.

Considering how dangerous the Joker and other villains in the batman universe are, the police would be better off just shooting them on sight.

Wow! They really got the atmosphere spot on. There is love for Batman in the art direction.

Batman would not stand for that shit.

Demo gets released on PC, PS3, and 360 this week.

The download, which kicks off as Batman delivers The Joker to Arkham Asylum, is said to sample the "Invisible Predator" stealth and "FreeFlow combat" mechanics, as well as provide a glimpse of the "infamous foes" players will face off against in the full version.

So pretty much what we saw in that video and then some.

It's not the game's fault you're so gay.

the demo is up in the EU guys. make an account for any European country by looking up that countrys phone book, make a bogus name but use a real address and you're in!

downloading it now to replay it

Is it possible to change a US gamertag to EU?

demo review from somewhere else:

Just finished the demo, its a lot of fun.

Combat feels very tight and you appropriately kick serious ass with various moves, counters and aerial assaults. Batman is not invincible though and you try to run up on guys with assault weapons they take your ass down fast so you are very much encourage to play stealthy and smart.

Voices are perfect and really make it feel alive thanks to using the voice cast from the animated tv shows (which i loved). Music is great, ambient when not fighting then ramps up to epic as you take on people. I felt like batman kicking ass because of it. Effects sound good as well, punches are damn satisfying.

Visually its good but not great and this is partly due to my boredom of the U3 engine at this point. Firstly this is on my ps3 so its got some serious lack of AA going on. Also it was a little too zoomed on batman for my taste, had the distinct feeling claustrophobia but not in the good way of the environment being an asylum but rather batman taking up too much of the screen and my constant need to spin the camera to get him out as much as possible. im making this more than it is though and the game is totally playable, just urks me some. Level design looks good, lots of stuff fleshing out the world and Arkham looks dark and as foreboding as it should.. Cant tell from the demo but I hope the environment is more interactive down the line. Lots of things I want to play with but no idea if you can or not down the line. Visually im thinking I may grab this on the PC + controller since I have a feeling it will be pushed harder with more tweak able settings (I hope?).

Demo is short, maybe 40 minutes but does a great job of entering you into the world and teaching you to control batman. Definitely a buy for me one way or another!

Looks nice for a movie to game, but UE3 graphics are really getting outdated.

Is it possible to change a US gamertag to EU?

no dude, just make an alt account, download it, then install in your US account and brag to your friends about it. everyone is always messaging me "how did you get that" "whose dick did you suck to get that!?!" "can i suck your big fat juicy cock and please send me the key" and so on and so forth

UE3 graphics are getting dated? What?
I think you guys might need to get your eyes checked.

that review wasnt from one of our members. I found it on the interwebs

Maybe you do as well if you can't notice how awful some of the textures are.

Didn't notice any bad textures.
But then again, I've not yet played the game.

Yeah, I guess.
I still think it looks entirely serviceable though.

I'm talking about UE3 in general. It's like living in a world of plactic.

UE3 in general, maybe. As for Batman, imo the graphics are jaw-dropping. The textures on the Bat suit are awesome. In my experience, I've yet to see something better than that.
