PARIS (Reuters) - French secret services produced nine reports between September 2000 and August 2001 looking at the al Qaeda threat to the United States, and knew it planned to hijack an aircraft, the French daily Le Monde said on Monday.

The newspaper said it had obtained 328 pages of classified documents that showed foreign agents had infiltrated Osama bin Laden's network and were carefully tracking its moves.

........

Le Monde said the French report of January 2001 had been handed over to a CIA operative in Paris, but that no mention of it had ever been made in the official U.S. September 11 Commission, which produced its findings in July 2004.

Another example of this administration's failure to use their imagination after being warned by many people that Al Queda was a huge threat and needed to be taken out. Yet Bush still refused to attack the Taliban after getting a plan from Clinton to do just that after the Cole attack. And it is yet another example of how biased and ineffective the 9/11 commission was.

Lies! Bush and the Illuminati caused 9/11 in order to bring about the New World Order driven by oil and death!

Bah, sorry. Couldn't resist. But let me get this straight, people are accusing Bush of being paranoid about Iran, Syria, etc after something like this? Ugh.

Bush couldnt pronounce "Al-Key-yadda" so he decided to concentrate on his golf swing instead ..then 9/11 happened and George was worried that it might take him away from playing golf so his puppet masters thought it'd be a good idea to invade Eye-rak so George could go back to improving his handicap once the evil-doers were safely disposed of

Well they wouldn't mention the french in the 9/11 commission for obvious reasons. After all that fuss they made over France not joining the coalition of the unwilling and their public disapproval of the Iraqi invasion.

The main point here is they lied, just as the EPA lied about the air being safe to breath the day after the attacks.

They said they couldn't envision planes being flown into buildings as weapons, whilst also knowing that the pentagon authorised over 12 different exercises to take place on the day, some simulating the exact same circumstances of the real event, all taking place on the morning of 911, which was also the given reason why no interceptors were able to deploy successfully and in time. Parrallel events, one real, the rest simulated, all occuring on the same day creating total confusion, go figure.

The French also knew that jet fuel does not burn at a high enough temperature to melt steel. :shh:

the french put theyr famous breads into the nose of the planes to make them penetrate the targets shhh

You're kidding but a stale baguette can really rip your gums apart, I'm sure you can stab someone with a week old baguette too.

wait a minute....the US gov knew that some kind of airplane attack was imminent?

that makes a lot of pages invalid. +some people need to redeem themselves because of blind ignorance, faith in vague and biased evidence (not even remotely possible to fully document) and just plain arrogance.

especially to themselves.

my "laughing in your face" meter just went up!
