Futurama is Back

I enjoyed this latest episode.

Though...

Bender and Amy was quite weird to see. lol

I haven't yet watched any of the new episodes.

I have but one question:

How much better is it in comparison to the shit-fest of a carcass that is currently Zombie Simpsons?

most things are better than the simpsons nowadays so hard to say but i'm enjoying it :)

Id say that so far (considering there have only been 3 episodes) the new Futurama is just as enjoyable as when it used to be on the air. That said, any Futurama episode, even the crappy ones, are much, much better than what the Simpsons have had to offer the past 10 years (more or less)

This latest episode was awesome!

I laughed hard at the plans snapping the table.

Great episode. First time in a long time that I actually found my jaw hanging due to how awesome it was.

My only gripe:
There could have been more nude Amy...

Just because I love a good flaming;

Family Guy > Futurama.

Bender: "Why does a robot need a codpiece?"

I laughed so hard my headphones flew off

EDIT: But I had been rolling since: "this is the number of steps to take"; "one";"OK, we're there."

Haven't seen number 5 yet, but 4 had me pissing myself.

'Aww...! Here's a little song I wrote to cheer you up. It's called-'*squeezes accordion at random*'"LET'S GO ALREADAYYYYY!"'

It's let go, not let's go. Just FYI. And yeah, it was hilarious.

Nah, it's 'let's' - Bender doesn't give a crap, he's just bored and wants to go ;)
I agree via this joke from the 5th episode:
Indeed so. Most indeededly.

Just got around to the 5th episode. It could quite possibly be my favorite episode ever. Absolutely hilarious.

Not my favorite, but it is my favorite of the new season. Lots of laughs.

What was your previous favorite?

My favorite is probably the Luck of the fryrish. I almost feel silly when futurama have one of those happy/sad episodes, like Leelas homeworld and I feel that I'm actually close to ****ing tears. Then I also like the scary door. It's so goddamn hilarious I don't think I have to see anything else ever.

Luck of the Fryish was definately one of my favorites...with an ending that almost feels sad...the whole realization of what happened after he was gone, etc...

You've watched it! You can't unwatch it! Stay tuned for more, TALES OF INTEREST!

Luck of the Fryrish is a great episode, as is Jurassic Bark. They'll always have a place in my heart because they can tug on my heartstrings so well. Every. Single. Time.

It's really hard for me to label my favorite episodes from the past seasons. So many of them have such great and unique moments that all challenge each other for the vote.

It was alright.

"This war reenactment is killing me!"

"You wouldn't be laughing that hard if you were really dead."

Oh god Jurassic Bark. I almost was moved to tears at the end.

Leela's Homeworld wasn't as effective to me though. :|

they're foreshadowing bender's death :(

Bender is pretty much indestructible. He gets chopped up, crushed, exploded, melted and everything else on a regular basis.

Bastard can't be destroyed. I find it hard to believe he'd succumb to a leak. lol

Just watched last weeks episode. Great end. Better than the previous ones this season. Got a lot of laughs out of me. Also

YOU CALL THAT AN INK DEFENSE?

I really liked the ending in this week's episode. But I felt the episode was lacking in the comedy department for me unfortunately.

It was alright.

This latest episode was fun.

The fact that there was a second big bang was entirely predictable though. Still very fun.

The best part was the parody of "In the Year 2525" I was laughing all the way through that,

Im glad someone else enjoyed that. I watched the episode with a bunch of my friends, but I was the only one who got the joke/reference. I tried to explain it to them, but it was pointless.

and for some reason I really laughed when
the Professor tried to shoot Hitler the second time.

At first I thought it was a bit derivative of The Cryonic Woman, but no, this latest one ranks among my favourites from everything so far. Kind of a tear-jerker, excellent gags, and sort of a Douglas Adams flavour to it.
I don't know the song "In the Year 2525", but I guessed it was a parody and was larfing all through it anyway. Favourite bit was:
"# In the year one million and a haaalf / humankind is enslaved by giraaaffes #" *cue human horse-chain wheeling a crowned giraffe out of a castle*

Neither of the past two episodes got any tears out of me. They didn't strike me on that emotional level, as far as the episode is concerned. I mean, they did hit me emotionally due to very different reasons, but not as far as the episodes themselves were concerned.

Great Episode.

Leela's message really got to me. Though it is far-fetch to think that Fry might see it.

I'm glad we can all agree that this latest episode was a good one. Before I came to see what everyone thought of it, I expected us to be divided again. At first it almost seemed like every other episode is catered to one of two audiences.

I've always liked the little message at the beginning of the show. This time it was "If you don't watch it, someone else will." They are always pretty clever.

I think the trick to this one is that they didn't overdo the pop-culture references, or rather, they didn't make them so overly transparent. Many of the previous ones (especially the iPhone one) were very ham-fisted in their approach by comparison. Best of the new episodes by a wide margin, and on par with the best of the old seasons.

I laughed hard at the "made you look" one. Especially, since I rewound it to see what it said.

Just saw the most recent episode last night.....funny shit!

Just slow down, I'll shoot Hitler out the window. *BZOOM* Damn, I missed! I hit Eleanor Roosevelt!

I kinda miss the way Fry's voice sounded in older episodes. It was more nasally.
